Return of the Centauri

Description
NOTE: All Classes/Genders have access to the transformation now!! Thanks for everyone's support and patience. Some assets however, such as straps for the Mystics, have been removed temporary as they overlap in odd ways with the new grips. I will continue to find a workaround for these but in the meantimes, Straps will appear as invisible on Mystic Centauri.

About the Mod:
Long, long before the days that the progeny of men scattered from hill to hill, sea to sea, there were an ancient people that roamed the plains of the Yondering Lands, proud and free. For several millennia, the Centauri, who's kin were unlike our own, lived as one with the natural world, boastful of their adventurous spirits and gallant heritage. But then, as if to remind all that only time lives forever, the Yondering lands suffered a time of great darkness, and the Centauri vanished into legend. Eons have passed, and the new life has since settled in place of the old. But not all of the ancient world is forgotten. Just as dusk foretells the coming of dawn, the time has come for the Centauri to re-emerge and take up arms once more against the forces of darkness.

Description:
Adds a Centauri theme to the game.

Also adds 1 new theme skins and a potential companion. The event triggers by sending a lone warrior or hunter to scout a unrevealed, non-hostile tile. It has a pretty high possibility of triggering but if you don't get it, your best bet is to reload your latest save and try scouting the tile again.

Theme Parts:
-Horse Body
  • + 3.1 HP
  • + 6.4 Speed
  • + 3 Warding
  • - 22 Dodge
-Horse Tail
  • Stampede: Once per battle, charge forward with the full might of the Centauri! 8 Range, damage = (0.75 * speed) + physical damage bonus.

A Centauri excels at being on the move. On the overland map, they travel much faster than most and can reach farther tiles much quicker. In combat, they have high mobility both naturally and with the use of their Stampede ability, allowing them to take the fight to distance enemies and create a path for allies. Their magical nature also provides them with a bit of defense against non-physical attacks. However, because of their large size, they're easy targets for group attacks and persistent enemies.

Theme Compatibility:
-Deepist, Deepist Mole, Frost, Scorpion, Spelltouched, and Vulture Acolyte. (Will add more in the future).

Foreword:
Hey, I'm PinhaT. I saw the old Centaur mod years ago and loved the idea but it was pretty bare-bones. So, I bought the game and got to work on making my own Centaur mod that would have a little more content. I've put tons of effort into this when I have free time from work, so I really hope you all enjoy it. I'll continue adding more content and (hopefully) get it working with other themes and all classes. If you have any suggestions for content you want added to the mod, give me a shout in the comments of the mod or in the Wildermyth discord and I'll consider it. Your input and time using my mod is greatly appreciated.

A very Special thanks to:
BoldestDungeon/Ironskink for his continued assistance in helping me with issues and testing. And everyone in the Wildermyth Discord who helped to make this mod possible with their advice and feedback.

Credit & Use:
If you want to make changes to my mod, translation patches, or add your own content and publish it, go wild. It's all good with me as long as you give me credit when using my assets. And drop me a link to your mod in the comments. Thanks!

@PinhaT I did end up figuring out that it was some kind of mod that was conflicting with the Centari mod. I don't quite know which one but once I took them all out and only left your mod in I was able to get the event to trigger. I believe it was probably another event mod that was conflicting with it. I put my other mods back into the game after triggering the event and everything seems to be running smoothly so far.

@TrowaTheWildfire It should be possible, but I just haven't given it any thought. I'm currently working on other content for the mod so it might not be something that happens soon if I do decide to add it. But it would be a a neat idea, so I'll keep it in mind for the future.

Is it possible to get Stampede to trigger on kill bonuses like Rogue or Untouchable? Or is the coding behind that not in the realm of feasibility? The mod is great regardless!
PinhaT  [author] 11 Aug @ 4:32pm
@Le Biscuitussy Alright. I've been checking and I can't find an issue with the mod not triggering. Perhaps it is another mod interfering? But I'm unsure. I'll try to look into this further. Have you tried testing a run with just my mod active? Try a run with my mod alone and see if the trigger still doesn't happen after a few tries and let me know.

@PinhaT this my first time using the mod and it hasn't worked yet, however I do use a couple other mods as well so I may try and deactivate those and test it out in a different campaign to if one of them conflicts with this mod.
PinhaT  [author] 10 Aug @ 9:13pm
@Le Biscuitussy Hmm, that's unusual. Can you tell me more about the issue? Was it working before and it stopped or was this your first time using the mod and it doesn't work?
Le Biscuitussy 10 Aug @ 4:32pm
@PinhaR Yes I'm only using one hero to scout the non-hostile tile. I assume by non hostile you mean like no infestation tiles and ones that don't require you to defend or attack on. And yes my game is in English, but I'll just keep on trying to see if it will trigger
PinhaT  [author] 10 Aug @ 4:14pm
@Le Biscuitussy It should be relatively easy if the conditions I've set are met. Are you exploring with a sole hero on a non-hostile tile? There are a handful of other events that can play out with those conditions but mine should have slightly higher priority than those and nothing else should be stopping it. Also I just found out from one other user just below your question that if you're playing on another language other than English the mod doesn't appear. Is your game set to English?
Le Biscuitussy 10 Aug @ 3:53pm
@PinhaT thanks for the quick response and that makes sense that they would be set as forbidden. One last question, how many times should I reload to actually get the centari event to trigger? I've reloaded my save for my human Male warrior about 15ish times and still haven't gotten it to trigger.
PinhaT  [author] 10 Aug @ 2:22pm
@Le Biscuitussy No, the themes are set as forbidden with each other so they wouldn't be possible to set at all. But I am still working on theme compatibility for a future patch so bear with me for some time and I'll have an update for that. Thanks for asking.
