This is a curated list of mods that I personally play with 99% of the time. I have gathered them up over the last 600 hours of gameplay to finetune the game to play how I want it to play, which is as close to the Vanilla gameplay as possible while adding a spicy flair to it. There are SOME gameplay changes, but nothing that makes the game wholly unrecognizable when compared to how you play Vanilla, hence Vanilla+.

The modlist is pretty stable - I don't really get crashes unless I load a save whilst playing a game, but after the crash I can load the save and get back into the game perfectly fine, and this crash happens only semi-frequently. I just haven't had the chance to dig out which mod is causing it.

-Improved AI(Expert AI)
-Better graphics(Supreme graphics collection, improved coat of arms, more division icons, better fonts, etc)
-More options as Germany in the late game - my favorite thing! Using the modset you can viably make Germany a puppet master with Reichsprotectorates out the wazoo, or you can go full madman and try to manage the occupation of all of Europe yourself. It actually feels like you have OPTIONS now!
-Historical flair added in ways that I feel suit the game(event pop ups, music, newspapers, etc)
-Common tools you can use ingame to fix things when you get Hoi4'd(state transfer tool, puppet release tool(I think I have that added?), etc)
