Mod ID: 2984407853

This mod adds Rhyniognatha to all maps it was not on previously (Fjordur, Ragnarok, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, The Centre, Valguero, Crystal Isles, Genesis 1 and Genesis 2), and also boosts the spawns of Island and Lost Island

Make sure to do a wild dinowipe with the command Cheat Destroywilddinos after adding the mod so it can spawn! Since these are rare spawns, you may also need to kill other things in their spawn areas- This will make room for new spawns, which may be a Rhynio

RHYNIOGNATHA REMAINS ENTIRELY VANILLA AND IS NOT EDITED.
This means that it will remain if the mod is removed, and any issues with its mechanics are NOT related to the mod- it only adds spawns. You can find its spawn code on https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Rhyniognatha. Read the taming mechanics at https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Rhyniognatha#Overview

Any mod maps that use these containers will also spawn it there.
So check if your modmap uses the container, if it does, it will spawn on it. If you have checked that a specific modmap does NOT use these containers, I may add them to that map on request.

INI Options:

All go in GameUserSettings.ini under the header [RhynioEverywhere]

Some vanilla limiters are altered in Swamp to prevent a particular (vanilla) interaction that was causing them to always spawn to roughly 30 on Island. The effect of this should be otherwise unnoticable, but if you wish to disable it, use the INI

DisableLimiterEdits=True

Additionally, the Spino spawner on Gen1 has had its max amount of dinos increased in order to make room for the Rhynio spawns without impacting Spino numbers much. This can also be disabled;

DisableSpinoCapIncrease=True

Disabling limiters is the reason there's so many, the config exists to prevent them from spawning 30 at once on Island. See is https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Server_configuration#DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers works to reduce their counts

is there a way to change how many spawns? bc my god there is many, too many. Mod works great, just too well.


i don't want a billion of them all at once, they get very annoying and unfun very quickly, but i don't wanna wait 4 billion years for a single level 20 to spawn.
is there a way to change the limit to how many there are of them? to like 1-3? bc i like them being rare, but not so rare you only find them every billion years.

also, the DisableLimiterEdits=True doesn't do anything for this. idk if i just misudnerstood what you were saying or something

This mod works well, too well... I ended up having like 5 Rhynios next to my house xd.

Interestingly I also saw a Rhynio lose against 5 Dimorfodons...

Would it be possible to make a mod that changes the the baby rhynio's inherited stats? If I am gonna struggle with craving satisfaction, host size quality and egg quality, the least the game can do is that the rhynio inherit the same stats as the host dino

@Frost_Daddy do you know where abouts on Fjordur they spawn? In the pics it looks like the purple forest in Asgard but im not sure.
