The scroll with the two shape hints regarding the three boards locked behind the singular blue sphere confused me the most. The first LXC hint didn't seem to do anything, and it was the -+L that let me progress. The right-most board always has its red gem out even without its pieces, which isn't how the other boards behave.
Not sure if the torn pieces of paper are intended to be put together, but they wouldn't do so for me: I was stuck drawing out the hint on paper manually.
(The escape room bugged out on first load preventing all interaction, but that's probably beyond your control to fix!)
Regardless, it is a wonderful map I can fully recommend to anyone!
I didn't realize you can pin and drag multiple objects on-screen at the same time. I was stuck on the 3-digit code puzzle for a while.
The scroll/paper hints are part of the puzzles, trying to understand what they could mean. I wanted the hints to be visual so it could be played in any language, but it's hard to know how clear they are when designing .
I wanted the room to feel like exploring as an archaeologist, requiring tools to open things. There used to be more bricks to hit, but the editor would crash, so I removed them. The tools are definitely underused now .
I've released an update to hopefully make some things clearer. I've added a visual hint to an area broken axe next to loose brick table , and I've redesigned scroll #4 to separate the orb/puzzle parts, and to show where the puzzle is related to the main room .
1. Hints were given at weird times. Whenever I got a new hint page/scroll I would start trying to use it, but some of them you dont actually use until near the end. I got stuck trying to solve the roof puzzle way before I was supposed to use it for example. It also gives too many hints too quickly, and its hard to figure out which one is needed at that time.
2. The tools. I liked the lighter since it was purely for atmosphere purposes, but I got hard stuck twice only to realize i was supposed to use one of the tools to open bricks or a door. It just felt weird solving a bunch of puzzles with tic tac toe only for it to randomly need a crowbar i guess
