The scroll with the two shape hints regarding the three boards locked behind the singular blue sphere confused me the most. The first LXC hint didn't seem to do anything, and it was the -+L that let me progress. The right-most board always has its red gem out even without its pieces, which isn't how the other boards behave.
Not sure if the torn pieces of paper are intended to be put together, but they wouldn't do so for me: I was stuck drawing out the hint on paper manually.
(The escape room bugged out on first load preventing all interaction, but that's probably beyond your control to fix!)
Regardless, it is a wonderful map I can fully recommend to anyone!
I didn't realize you can pin and drag multiple objects on-screen at the same time. I was stuck on the 3-digit code puzzle for a while.
The scroll/paper hints are part of the puzzles, trying to understand what they could mean. I wanted the hints to be visual so it could be played in any language, but it's hard to know how clear they are when designing .
I wanted the room to feel like exploring as an archaeologist, requiring tools to open things. There used to be more bricks to hit, but the editor would crash, so I removed them. The tools are definitely underused now .
I've released an update to hopefully make some things clearer. I've added a visual hint to an area broken axe next to loose brick table , and I've redesigned scroll #4 to separate the orb/puzzle parts, and to show where the puzzle is related to the main room .
1. Hints were given at weird times. Whenever I got a new hint page/scroll I would start trying to use it, but some of them you dont actually use until near the end. I got stuck trying to solve the roof puzzle way before I was supposed to use it for example. It also gives too many hints too quickly, and its hard to figure out which one is needed at that time.
2. The tools. I liked the lighter since it was purely for atmosphere purposes, but I got hard stuck twice only to realize i was supposed to use one of the tools to open bricks or a door. It just felt weird solving a bunch of puzzles with tic tac toe only for it to randomly need a crowbar i guess
I'll change the pages to not stack, and for the rotation puzzle the intention is to put them together using the pin mechanic (if you mean the code chest puzzle). I can add slots to allow for piecing together in inventory if the player wants to .
But the puzzles were really good!! One of my favorite workshop maps so far! And while others complained about the back and forth, i found it enjoyable.
Ps. the walkthrough instructions were more useful in finding which scroll i'm supposed to use rather than the actual walkthrough :p
I think that the scroll puzzles - figuring out what they mean - are fairly niche and can be clear for some and not for others. I don't want to change them too much, but I would prefer if they were clearer for more people, so I will update the room with more in-game hints as I get feedback.
I tried to prevent that! If it's the X door to the main room I'll add a check so the obstacle won't enable while it's closing if a player is in the way.
I can't hold back to write this even if I've not finished the adventure yet (unfortunately, I've been stuck in a door, because I was trying to get a "cross" back in my inventory while standing in the door's path)
There is a hint to the statues, there are three * paper * items to find, one shows this shelf .
The final bowl was meant to be like other bowls (with hidden slot to lock the orb in place). The red orb is also the last new key item so I assumed players would try to use it. I will add something to make it clearer.
Thank you for playing!
Scrolls are being worked on, one completely redrawn Scroll #5 . Things are being added to the environment to imply what to try/where to go.
I want part of the experience to still be "figuring out the scrolls without knowing hieroglyphs", but there's lots of gaps that should be bridged.
The update will be ready in 1-2 days. The drawings take a while, and I'm redesigning/adding things so I don't cram the new hints into only five scrolls (at risk of being too detailed to intuit).

- If it's the orb I'm thinking of, scroll #4 gives a hint for it.
- Scroll #3 marks the orb locations, and scroll #4 tells you to look up, near the four bowls.
Locations for all are: middle large room; storeroom; T room; stone drawer; and hallway (four-slot board).
If you find it, I would like to know which one so I can try and make the hints clearer. Or comment in the Bugs / Issues discussion if one of them is completely missing.
