Description
This mod has a few bugs, but I'm waiting for the next major update to revisit it
I'm a bit out of practice with modding Zomboid and haven't played in a few months because I got busy with other things. I will fix the mod eventually, but in the meantime beware it has a few bugs.

Introduction
This is a standalone version of Neurodiverse Traits with a new trait for Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as some small changes to old traits. I have permission to post this mod, however if the original modmaker decides to add ASD or make changes, I don't know if I will add them to to this mod or stop updating it. As someone with ASD I worked hard to make a trait that makes sense within the game while also being interesting and relatively balanced but I am open to feedback.

Compatibility
You do not need the original Neurodiverse Traits mod with this mod.
Should work now with Smoker, Autosmoker, Extra Trait Effects, Greenfire, and Dynamic Traits and Expanded Moodles.

Still probably doesn't play well with other modded consumables/foods/smokeables I have not added. Any feedback is appreciated.

Traits
ASD - Cost + 8
Not A Picky Eater - Cost - 4
- You randomly rolls a 50% chance (55% with the trait Lucky) five times to see what types of foods they like and don't like. Foods they like will give a slight bonus to happiness and boredom while foods they dislike will give a harsh penalty to happiness and boredom. You can see what foods you like based on the traits your character receives.
- All picky eater effects can be canceled with the trait "Not A Picky Eater."
- You will have an 85% chance (80% with the trait Lucky) to have the trait Clumsy to represent struggles with fine motor skills.
-You can avoid any chance at being clumsy by taking the trait "Graceful."
- You have a 15% chance (20% with the trait Lucky) to gain a special interest in a hobby, with a cap of two special interests. Any hobby trait you pick, like Angler, Former Scout, Sewer, etc. has a chance to be a special interest and get an extra level of xp boost in its respective skill(s). Combat skills do not get special interest bonuses.
- You are stressed out by noises. The louder and closer the noise, the more stressful it is, affected by hearing radius traits.
-You can avoid stress from noise with the trait "Desensitized."
- You can stim to relieve stress. By holding Q and bringing up the emote wheel you can find the Stimming option where your character will continue to relieve stress while the animation plays. You can cancel the animation by running, aiming, attacking, etc.

ADHD - Cost +8
- Everyday you have a 30% chance to be in Hyperfocus, but will otherwise be in Hypofocus. 35% chance with the Lucky trait
- Hyperfocus will grant you the traits: Fast Learner, Fast Reader, Organized, and Dextrous.
- Hypofocus will grant you the traits: Slow Learner, Slow Reader, Disorganized and All Thumbs.
- Medication: Adderal - Negates all positive and negative effects of ADHD untill the next roll (00:00AM). Best used in the morning, starts with 20 pills

Bipolar I Disorder - Cost +7
- Everyday you have a chance switch to either Bipolar Mania and Bipolar Depression or neither, with a slightly higher chance to stay in whatever state you are already in.
- Bipolar Mania grants you the following buffs: Sadness reduction, Stress reduction, Endurance boost, as well as the Wakeful trait.
- Bipolar Depression grants you the following De-buffs: Sadness increase, Stress increase, Endurance decrease, and the Sleepyhead trait.

Tourette Syndrome - Cost +10
- Every 10 in-game minutes, you will have a 15% chance of having a tic between shouting, shoving, racking, reloading, or attacking.
- The chance scales with panic up to +15%

Alzheimer's disease - Cost +10
- Everyday each Skill will have 50% chance to lose 2.5% XP, this does not apply to Passive and Agility Skills

Known Issues
Autism doesn't work with other smoking mods. Currently working on it.

Special Thanks
Special thanks to my supportive girlfriends for helping me on this mod as well as the PZ Discord modding channel and to Mx for the original mod and inspiration. Seeing my disabilities represented in game meant a lot and added a lot for me.

Do I have permission to remake this mod for bug fixes and multiplayer compatibility?

You should make it so that performing the special interest traits gives happiness and/or have increased boredom drain. Coming from an autistic person.

hey are there any negative effects on overdosing on schizo meds? is it perchance severe sweating and tripping and exhaustion? cause i wanted to take the recommended amount every 24 hours as it said, but on the second pill 24+ hours later i started to tweak.. smh

it would be cool if you could take a mood stabilizer to negate the effects of bipolar disorder though

it would be really cool if ear defenders and headphones would limit or reduce the stress of noises with ASD like how glasses stop the short sighted trait
