Do I have permission to remake this mod for bug fixes and multiplayer compatibility?
FunkeMonke 23 Jul @ 11:15am
You should make it so that performing the special interest traits gives happiness and/or have increased boredom drain. Coming from an autistic person.

hey are there any negative effects on overdosing on schizo meds? is it perchance severe sweating and tripping and exhaustion? cause i wanted to take the recommended amount every 24 hours as it said, but on the second pill 24+ hours later i started to tweak.. smh
number1millipedefan 2 Jun @ 11:09am
it would be cool if you could take a mood stabilizer to negate the effects of bipolar disorder though
number1millipedefan 2 Jun @ 11:07am
thank you for changing bipolar disorder so ur not switching between manic & depressive literally every day :steamhappy:
Tmccanna 5 Apr @ 5:49pm
probaby not getting updated tbh, atleast soon
jimmy_handgrenades 23 Mar @ 10:39pm
it would be really cool if ear defenders and headphones would limit or reduce the stress of noises with ASD like how glasses stop the short sighted trait
Tim Drake's Depression 4 Feb @ 7:50am
This is never gonna get to B42 and beyond, is it?
Kyrox 25 Jan @ 4:57pm
This is one of the best trait mods out there. I'm sure there are people out there willing to pick it up and take it over if you would like to be free from it.
Violet 🐕  [author] 25 Jan @ 4:28pm
I'll be honest, I haven't played Project Zomboid since I released the mod, and I hardly know anything about coding. I don't really know lua and trying to fix the mod is intimidating, so I'm not sure if/when I'll update it.
🌸♡Emily♡🌸 25 Jan @ 1:36pm
When/Is this going to be updated to B42?
Kyrox 24 Jan @ 4:55pm
No B42 plans? :(

watchmojo top seven deadly sins 11 Nov, 2024 @ 2:21pm
hey, the stimming emote doesn't seem to work when you have autism: i'm stuck being stressed all the time, any cause for this?

too real :crying_yeti::crying_yeti::crying_yeti:
Maru Whilby 4 Nov, 2024 @ 6:09pm
In AutismTrait.lua in the isSafetyFood function, there appears to be a typo where "crisps" is misspelled as "crips" and it causes all types of chips to make ASD characters upset when eating them

I love this community
Kaverdinho ♥ 2 Nov, 2024 @ 11:16am
it would be so sick to get auAd/Hd where the game does 6 rolls with 1 or 2 rolls being positive trait in either asd or adhd,1 - 3 rolls randomly rolled positive or negative trait and rest of the rolls negative traits, the random pos or neg trait gets reset daily so its always 1 positive and 2 negative and somedays no positive and all negative, also there is no set "special interest" or "hyper focus" because they've conjoined into one of the same nonfunctional mess constantly "evolving" i like to call it :steamhappy:
Red Shirt 31 Oct, 2024 @ 4:13am
ASD has many features of ADHD. I'd like to see those included. There could also be a stacking with ADHD. I'd also like to see a buff to xp gained for skills without proficiency. Adding in an increased risk of illness and injury balanced with increased strength would also fit more with actual ASD.
ItsBlade 19 Oct, 2024 @ 9:10pm
could I request functionality between autism and earmuffs from brita's pack? it makes sense that the sensory overload should be reduced or eliminated from earmuffs
Bjem 15 Oct, 2024 @ 1:45pm
There seems to be a bug with the alzheimers trait where if the level goes down due to the xp drop you lose the xp bonus from having read the skill book. You do not get the bonus for the level before, and you do not regain the bonus once you reach the level you were at. The books still count as being read but the xp bonus is gone permanently, making higher level skills near impossible to learn. Is this a known bug and is there a solution (other than suicide?)

finally i can play as myself in project zomboid
Caio 16 Sep, 2024 @ 4:22pm
Could you after the Build 42 comes in make an OCD trait? it could be a simple one like the "Fear of Blood" already in the game, making you stressed while dirty/blood without the panic of blood itself
-ThiagoCtrl 11 Sep, 2024 @ 7:20pm
For some reason when I put on the bipolar trait it kills me out of nowhere for no reason, I would love to know if it's that or a bug when downloading the mod or a bug in the mod itself
Niko 9 Aug, 2024 @ 10:33am
my stress levels are too high...

*starts clapping*
SirenSong 6 Aug, 2024 @ 7:30am
mod suddenly no longer working. tried making new save with only this mod and the framework; traits did not show up in character creator. i am very AuDHD and have been loving this mod intensely for several months.
Omni [she] 25 Jul, 2024 @ 1:56pm
As someone with autism myself, this mod is a certified apocalypse classic
Novashrugs 23 Jul, 2024 @ 8:41pm
@turtleshroom yes, hearing protection does exist in the game! that would definitely be nice to have to help with the anxiety moodles, that or earplugs.
TurtleShroom 21 Jul, 2024 @ 8:21pm
Also, I think that the noise sensitivity penalty for autism should be negated by hearing protection (if it exists in game). As an autist, things like gunshots don't hurt me if I am covering my ears.
TurtleShroom 21 Jul, 2024 @ 8:20pm
I love the autism one. It's neat how you depicted some of the lesser parts of autism, especially little known ones like how autists walk funny. I was wondering how you'd depicted noise sensitivity.

What kind of noises hurt? In RL, zombie groans wouldn't be one that does it: gunshots, scraping, and banging would be more of an issue.

Adding stimming as a buff was not something I expected. Using it as a means to lower the Stress Moodlet is genius .

I am curious, though: why don't all autists always get the Clumsy fine motor skills penalty? That's inherent to the disease.
TurtleShroom 21 Jul, 2024 @ 8:17pm
I have autism myself (autism, specifically Aspergers), and I find it ironic that a zombie apocalypse scenario would actually be one where my autism wouldn't affect. You don't have to socialize with zombies. I am impressed by the accuracy and the depictions of each disease; you really nailed it!

That said, it's okay to say "mental illness" and "mental disability"; would we call influenza patients or COVID sufferers "immuno-divergent"? Would we say the blind man or amputee is "bodily diverse"? No. We'd say they are ill or disabled. It is what it is, and it's a fact of life. Political correctness is a cancer and being medically accurate is more important than not hurting fragile feelings. We should not be letting the mentally ill dictate the terminology or the treatment.
Novashrugs 6 Jul, 2024 @ 7:56pm
I'm also getting anxiety no matter what with autism even without keen hearing. I've been fiddling around with it and can't find any possible source of it.
Novashrugs 6 Jul, 2024 @ 7:54pm
I also get the same issue as Black Knight - I'm getting the constant anxiety from almost no noise, and it comes back after like 2 minutes.
Lucas Edwards 2 Jul, 2024 @ 4:59pm
@Para Seconded. As an ADHD having guy, we totally do that.
Though I sometimes wish I would forget to eat more often, I would probably not be as heavy as I am. :S
Lucas Edwards 2 Jul, 2024 @ 4:57pm
Finally, I can play myself in game.
Black White 2 Jun, 2024 @ 9:57pm
