Lemma I

Description
Preface
T1 Scout Submarine, version 5.0 (stable). If you enjoy my work, please give me a thumbs up. Thank you! Lemma II & III and Corollary II are also available.
The lemma series was initiated after the Probe Series and designed to replace various outdated vessels. The entire series is equipped with standard features such as
  • Lock: locking of the brig
  • Dock: docking of the lower docking chamber
  • Hatch: manual control mode of the upper hatch
  • High-pressure mode: higher speed and extra ballast tanks.
In the campaign set in Hellish difficulty with Jupiter radiation enabled, it offers a satisfying gaming experience.Lightweight design, thus no fancy decorations, but it ensures a smooth gameplay experience without any lag. Please read the instruction manual before embarking.

Spec model Features
  • Armor : Strengthened hardened shell, including inner armor in the electric room.
  • Processing Equipment : Only equipped with a fabricator, but with enhanced efficiency.
  • Unique Sub-System : Beyond-Visual-Range system: Ranging drone + auto-calculator for attacking enemy at a maximum distance of 200m,link to bottom flak cannonhardpointDetail

Lemma I
The Lemma I was initially developed by the Europa Union Design Bureau as a small reconnaissance research submarine for scattered scientific projects in the Cold Caverns region. It replaces the first-generation classic Dugong[barotraumagame.com] submarine. This was a significant challenge for the Design Bureau, considering that almost every captain's adventurous journeys on Europa began with a Dugong. Therefore, it was designed as the last vessel in the Lemma series. It proved to be a wise decision, benefiting from the reliable technologies validated in the Lemma II and III. The series' iconic streamlined hull was meticulously designed to perfection. The mature battery drive and high-pressure mode give it unparalleled maneuverability within its class. (Note that in high-pressure mode, the lower docking bay will become an additional ballast tank to accelerate diving.)

In terms of firepower, the new turret layout maximizes firing arcs while minimizing drag. The ship's belly is equipped with the same batch of modified Chaingun as the Lemma II, but as an economically produced model, its firing speed is identical to the standard version, with the addition of an extra coilgun ammo supply compartment.

Despite its small size, the ship accommodates a full set of processing equipment at the cost of compression of the ballast tank. With the lowest ballast ratio in the series, the crew faces additional difficulties in repairing the low-profile ballast tank. The ballast tank, spanning almost the entire bottom of the ship, severely affects the Lemma I's buoyancy. If the forward engineering compartment or the engine compartment below the rear conning tower is damaged, the ship will sink rapidly. To maintain restricted height, there is no watertight separation between the engine compartment and the electrical compartment. If the conning tower is destroyed, the consequences will be catastrophic.

The interior lighting has been specially optimized, with different compartments having their own lighting designs. The command room and electrical room require clear visibility, so they are illuminated with soft yellow-white light, while the gun room, where the crew uses periscopes to observe the outside, is lit with red and white light to protect their vision. The crew quarters also have switches for the lights to provide a better rest experience. The new indicator light system provides excellent guidance on the submarine's maneuvering modes. During battery cruising, the green indicator light on the navigation terminal remains lit. When the high-pressure maneuvering mode is activated, the red indicator light illuminates, reminding the captain of the submarine's status.

The initial price of the submarine was 8000 Marks, which was quite high for a T1-class submarine. However, considering its potential for massive sales and the cost reduction achievable through large-scale production, the final price was lowered to 6000 Marks, with supplies included. Even the most financially constrained captain would breathe a sigh of relief upon seeing this price. The Design Bureau considered mounting a container shuttle module on the Lemma I’s lower docking interface, but the current low selling price leaves no room for additional options. The future Corollary series transport submarines will feature modular designs.

@.seph, may I ask what kind of bug or negative experience you encountered?:lunar2019piginablanket:

This submarine is genuinely atrocious. never use this in any slightly modded gameplay or you will suffer

Version 5.0.0
Major Update – Details as Follows

Omni
1) Fixed texture depth issues and added storage shelves to the engineering bay
2) Modified the storage locker configuration in the cargo chamber

Spec
1) Completely reworked the beyond-visual-range (BVR) strike system and its associated Distance-measuring drone, achieving true BVR capabilities (previously, precision BVR strikes were only possible against targets located directly beneath the submarine at a fixed depth of −40 m)
2) Added a Deconstructor to the engineering chamber
3) Fixed texture depth issues and added storage shelves to the engineering bay

@Spoopy_PP-Man, thanks for sending me the save file. The problem is solved; it was due to a signal wire in the docking hatch being incorrectly connected to the power pin.

Just a reminder for anyone who might face a similar situation:
in my schematic, all wires for signals are blue, while red wires must be power wires and should only be connected to power in the design.

If any problem arises after a while but not initially, it is usually because a wire was accidentally reconnected incorrectly.

In the next update, I will lock the essential wires to prevent this from happening.

@Spoopy_PP-man, I am sorry that I can't find the exact problem with the information you provided. But I have two suggestions for you to fix the save:

1) Check my discussion 'How to Update the Submarine,' which is a relatively easy way.

2) You could send me your save file via email, then I can check it. (It will take longer). (In 'Load Save' -> 'Show in Folder,' you can find your save; please send the entire folder.) I will send you my email address in a private chat.

Hopefully, that helps!:lunar2019piginablanket:

@Spoopy_PP-Man, The dock system should be alright, because I did not change any design in the 'control state' of the dock since publication. However, since I didn't lock the wire connect for the entire control system, and some of them are above the battery or behind the state monitor, it makes the diagnostics hard.

About the automatic door, I asked the bot to follow me, and it seems like the failure of the autodoor to work properly didn't occur. Could you mean the glitch is that the door is making strange noises? It may be caused by the press at the control button of the door, because once the door is controlled by the motion detector, it continuously sends its signal, while the button for the switch sends a pulse that can be easily overwritten.

And the automatic door starts to kinda glitch when two people try to go through

Both dock hatches dont work for our sub. At the start of our campaign it worked just fine but after some time we couldnt dock at any station. I also tried starting anew campaign to try docking again with the use of levers and it worked just fine for some reason. I have tried looking at the wires but i have no idea how each component works so i gave up 😅

@Spoopy_PP-Man, I just checked it in a new campaign and haven't encountered your problem yet. But if it worked before, it should work again. Could you compare the wire connection of your dock with the one in the shipyard?
