Description
Updated and rebalanced version of Hyzo's "Firearms B41"

To use this mod, you must deactivate the original one, this mod doesn't work as an add-on.

[Adds several new guns]

Glock 17 (9x19mm)
Remington 870 (12 ga)
M24 (7.62x51mm/.308 Winchester)
M1 Garand (.30-06)
SKS (7.62x39mm)
Winchester 1894 (.44 Magnum)
AK-47 (7.62x39mm)
MP5 (9x19mm)
UZI (9x19mm)
Thompson M1A1 (.45 ACP)
M60 (7.62x51mm/.308 Winchester)
BAR (.30-06)

New model for the sawn-off shotgun with sawn-off stock aswell. Now possible to also make a sawn off hunting rifle.
This also changes the models for the 1911, M9, Shotgun, MSR700 and MSR788.

[Adds new calibers of ammo]

7.62x51mm exchangeable with .308 Winchester
7.62x39mm
.30-06

5.56x45mm is now exchangeable with .223 Remington
7.62x51mm is exchangeable with .308 Winchester

(This is not 100% Realistic, but it's done this way in order to make the mod not conflict with some weapon spawns of the base game).

[Attachments]

This mod adds silencers and sandbox settings for suppressor efficiency and rarity, as well as improvised suppressor breakage.

It also adds new attachments, like compensators, a new scope, and a bipod.

3D Models for attachments such as slings, recoil pads and bipods.

Removes the requirement to have a screwdriver to add and remove attachments to guns.

Buffs scopes and the choke tube improved in order to make them more viable.

The biggest changes are:

Rifles now do way more damage in order to make them more viable. Their ammo capacity was also increased.

Sawn-off weapons (except for the Sawn-off Double Barrel) can now be stored on a holster.

Reduced the maximum ammo capacity of the JS-2000 shotgun and increased the crit chance of the Desert Eagle and Magnum.

The M16 is now more likely to appear, although still rare. Its minimum damage was increased a bit too.

This mod is not compatible with any other mod that extensively change any firearm or firearm related mechanic in the game, therefore for the best experience you should not use it together with any other firearm related mod.

This mod will irreversibly change any save it is applied to, so it is therefore not recommended you remove this mod mid-playthrough.

Please consider this when subscribing. There is a possibility for things to change. Backup your saves.

Tested in B41.78 with many mods enabled, it all seems to work perfectly (in single player at least, I'm not able to test it in multiplayer at the moment), however there are a couple of known bugs I will list here:

When setting the improvised silencer durability to "one shot", improvised silencers become unbreakable. This is a bug from the original mod and I was unable to fix it. Now bottle suppressors have the same durability as flashlight suppressors.

Chargers of the MSR788 can appear in game, but they do nothing, as the MSR788 doesn't use chargers anymore. This bug can be fixed, but it would mean that the mod would probably break every time the game is updated, so I've decided not to do it. I'm sorry.

Some weapons that can no longer have iron sights attached to them can spawn with iron sights (if you remove them, they can't be re-attached). This bug can be fixed, but once again it would mean that the mod would probably break every time the game is updated, so I've decided not to do it. I'm sorry.

When storing an UZI in your holster, the texture is higher than it should. I don't know how to work with textures and models in this game, so I don't know how to fix it. It doesn't look horrible anyways, so it shouldn't affect your experience and immersion.

Some weapons don't have their attachment textures. I deactivated them due to them being bugged. If any of you knows how to work with Project Zomboid textures, please contact me.

I updated and rebalanced the weapon stats. I also removed many weapons the main mod added due to many of them being superfluous, as well as removing revolver silencers in order to increase realism.

@MCPLAYER113388 I can't directly edit the loot of some places, as it would mean the mod will break if new or different loot is added on an update. The military base doesn't have good loot in the base game either though, so that's a problem of the game itself. I recommend you trying to loot the military camp of Louisville, it's way better and easier.

@Freeman I believe this is a bug from the original mod. I honestly don't know what causes it, does this happen with other weapons mods?

Will you add some 9mm ammo in military base?I can find MP5A1 in this place but it is have no 9mm ammo to relord them.
