Item Set Mastery (Set Attunement) v1.1.1 for HOH v115

Description
This mod had been updated to be compatible with HOH v115

Completing an item set may give an opportunity to permanently improve its effects. Your character becomes so proficient in using a set of items that he begins to gain mastery over their use.

To purchase a Set Mastery, you must complete an item set and visit a Golden Anvil with the completed set. Golden Anvils only spawn at the top of the Tower, and only starting at NG+5. Purchasing a Mastery costs 10 skillpoints. Most Masteries have several levels. The first level can be purchased at NG+5. For every subsequent level, the NG+ requirement increases by 2.

At this point, the bonuses are rather small: an additional 20%-50% over the original set bonus. However, now that all of the code is in place, it will be easy to give stronger, or entirely new and more interesting, bonuses. I’m still testing for balance.

Note: The way that the game is coded, a set is considered “complete” not when you have all of the items from the set, but when you have activated all of its set bonuses, though this is usually the same number. For instance, the Apothecary’s Implements set has 5 items, but the highest set bonus requires only 4 of those items. So, the set is considered “complete” if you have any 4 items from the set. I have not changed this, and this mod uses the same way to determine if a set is “complete”.

This mod should be just fine in multiplayer.

This mod will be included in the Clever Merge Mod mod

Additional Features:
- New fanfare added when a set is completed
- Fixed a problem with Journeyman’s Outfit and Disciple’s Arcana sets. They were providing bonuses that were not in their descriptions. Fixed so that the bonuses match the descriptions.
- Standardized set bonus descriptions. In the base game, some set bonuses were listed incrementally, and some were listed cumulatively. For instance:
Monster Encyclopedia:
2: +10% total damage
3: +10% total damage
4: +10% total damage
meant that, with 4 items, you would have + 30% total damage. Each level lists the amount of increase. However,
Instruments of Exorcism:
2: +25% damage done to Aberrations and Undead.
2: +50% damage done to Aberrations and Undead.
2: +100% damage done to Aberrations and Undead.
would tell you the TOTAL bonus at each level. This has now been standardized. Now, all bonuses tell you the TOTAL bonus at each level as long as the bonus is the same kind. If bonuses are of different kinds, then they stack. Example, something like:
2: +5 attack power
3: +5 skill power
4: +10 attack power
would give 5 skill and 10 attack at level 4. (The +10 attack replaces the +5 attack, but the +5 skill does not, because it is a different bonus type.)

correct, It is not yet compatible with the new version of the game. I will update it before the end of the summer.

mod does not work anymore
