Description
This mod turns all generic recruits into unique ones.

There is a more radical version of this mod, "No generic recruits, no spawn", which disables generic recruits from spawning entirely.

Why is this:

Building your own strong squad of unique and interesting personalities can in itself be an interesting challenge and lead to dramatic adventures. Some characters will join you only if special conditions are met, others need to be persuaded correctly, and others you will find in hard-to-reach locations. The addition of a new member to your team can be considered another victory.
If this is your view of the world of Kenshi, then the many random slackers who live in bars and are always ready to join you may seem strange. All of them are completely standard, guaranteed to love you, and never end, reappearing in the bars every time you import the game, like a product in stores. If your style of play is role-playing and not strategy, then all these characters will only get in the way of enjoying the game.

What it does:

This mod changes all generic recruits to a unique type, and they become the same as unique recruits with random names. Now they can appear in the game only once.
Only those characters that are constantly in bars are affected. Potential recruits roaming outside the cities, such as escaped servants and slaves or lost drones, are not affected by this mod.

If you want to get as large a squad as possible, then there are many great mods at your service that add a variety of unique recruits to the game, as well as cheat mods that allow you to recruit prisoners. So your adventures will only become more interesting.

In order for the changes to take effect, you must start a new game or import.

Compatibility:

Recruit Level Randomization – compatible.

This mod does not affect unique recruits, all mods that change unique recruits are compatible. All mods that add new characters are also compatible.

Mods that create new races, new cities, new squads may accidentally or intentionally change the rules for spawning generic recruits. An example of such mods is "Universal Wasteland Expansion", or "Genesis". For this mod to work, it must be loaded after them.

This mod only affects generic recruits from the vanilla game and will not affect the spawning of non-unique recruits added by mods. To work together with such mods, you will need patches.
