Description
CONFEDERATE CASEMATE IRONCLAD "ATLANTA" 1862

(Fictional, not to be confused with the CSS Atlanta of 1861)
Built up from the charred scraps of a steam frigate that was scuttled by the Union, the CSS Atlanta was supposed to finally break down the blockade that's been starving the Confederates of resources. The hull had an iron structure with sloped sides placed on top of it to protect the ship from incoming fire, and had a total of 10 guns, with the fore and aft guns set on pivots to aim out of any of three gun ports. with a somewhat slow top speed of 10 knots due to salty machinery, and a turning radius comparable to oil tankers, the the hideous brute of a ship set out to break down the blockade, but was met by the USS Manhattan first. The two clumsy ships fought hard, but Atlanta slowly began to be broken down, and eventually was defeated and sank.

SINK SWITCHES

The sink switches are located in the Captain's cabin, towards the stern of the ship

1: A hole opens opens up in the keel and the ship will go down partially by the bow

2: Choppy seas slowly finds its way into the ship and it slowly goes down

The waves required for 2 don't have to be too big. Once they start splashing in the forward/aft gun ports water should slowly find its way into the ship

EXTRA NOTES

Being designed mainly for coastal and river work, heading out in rough seas is not recommended

Yes, I know the turning is weak. That is intentional

Can be run on low physics setting

Inspired by the CSS Virginia (1862)
