Maavaldian Armed Forces DISCO

Maavald is a fictional wealthy & highly advanced European powerhouse located in the Baltic region where the Baltic Sea is replaced by mountainous terrain. Maavald has a lot of vast mountainous terrain and has very cold climate like its neighbouring countries. It has one of the most unique Militaries in the world in terms of equipment and doctrine.

Throughout the Cold War, Maavald remained strongly neutral and maintained excellent ties with both East and West. They bought equipment from both East and West while developing a strong local arms industry, and conducted a lot of training exercises to be proficient defenders. Today Maavald maintain a lot of old, analog, carbureted equipment due to its simplicity suitable for operating in its vast terrain & isolated locations. Military modernisation programs are ongoing and massive investments are being put into space/galaxy exploration. (Space DLC - wip)

Maavald is also one of the most superstitious cultures in the world, and holds many mysteries in its mountains. Some hikers have reported seeing large land creatures and flying monsters during their ascend, but the locals are tight-lip about it... Folk lores and traditions are plentiful among the people of Maavald. (Legends DLC - wip)
