Until the End
No one knew 1945 would be the end of the Second World War, everyone guessed there was at least another year of fighting left. The German resistance was growing incredibly radical, with everyone throwing everything they had at the Allied troops. Spearheading into Germany was American armor, made mostly of war-weathered M4 Shermans. Although classified as "Medium Tanks" they were thrown at any obstacle, whether they could penetrate it or not, from Africa and the Pacific to the Soviet Union. The replica model of the Sherman, the M4a3, was deployed frequently to western Germany, home of some of the grittiest tank fighting of the war. Though the German army made its last offensive in the fateful Christmas of 1944, its Panzer and Tiger divisions were still going strong. Casualties among tank crews were incredibly high as the closing winter of 1945 trudged on into spring. One of the biggest issues was the lack of penetration power against the heavily armored German tanks. Attempts to fix this evolved the M4a3 into the M4a3E8, a 76mm upgrade with the stopping power to blow the face off of a turret. The British counterpart, the Fairy Firefly, boasted similar power. Despite this, higher-power Sherman numbers were few and the less powerful Shermans continued to enter the slaughter in the forests near and in the Rhine where ambushes by tanks, the SS, and Hitler Youth were common. This continued until the dumbstruck Americans walked into Berlin, far ahead of schedule and nearly side-by-side with the Soviets. With Iwo Jima and Okinawa ending the ground action in Japan, and some touch-and-go moments in Korea, the American Sherman reached the end of its journey. However, it has been immortalized by many surviving units, movies like Fury, and books like Spearhead. The tank itself was later replaced by the M26 Pershing, whose 90mm gun stunned the world when it threw a shell into the side of a Panther D, only for it to come out the other side. A few late-model Shermans found themselves in the hands of the tinkering Israelis and saw action into the Cold War.

Specifications
Original L: 6.27 Replica L: 7.25 Meters Original W: 2.6 Meters Replica W: 2.75 Meters Original Top Speed: 48 KM/H Replica Top Speed: 56 KM/H Original Crew: 5 Replica Crew: 4 (Recommended 2 people per tank) Exterior Credibility: 9/10 Interior Credibility: 7/10 Performance Credibility: 9/10
Manual:
Starting: (1) Turn the "Engine" key (2) Get into gear (starts a '1') Manuevering: The faster you go, the better it turns while moving. Don't expect it to turn and go forward like a racecar, this a tank built for war. There is on the spot turning, and transitioning is smooth and easy. This is perfect for beginners. Don't stay on 5th gear unless you want to blow your engine out, realistically you wouldn't want to drive around on full gear anyways. Operating the Gun: The gun is a Heavy Autocannon, and to use it with infinite ammo off, load a bullet into the "75mm Breech". Turn the "Load Gun" key, and pull the trigger to fire.

Author's Notes:
There are a LOT of Shermans, and a few M4a3 Shermans. I'm pretty sure this is the base model, but I might be wrong. It was also difficult to make 1:1 and fit everything, Stormworks really doesn't like small replicas. Like any tank in this game, don't expect it to survive much, use the "look first shoot first" doctrine to win. I was challenged to make a good looking accurately-sized Sherman, and I think I did pretty well. Anyways, hope you enjoy! It's my pleasure to flesh out history in a way you'll enjoy it, looking good, easy to understand, and fun to use.

@Jfx2 im no way angry at you but just let the man do it own thing the sehrman is still good but the horizontal stabilizer dosent belong there and the "best sherman on the ws" but let the man do its own thing hes burnt out too

For the exterior, all I chose were these schematics, I looked at it and was like "my Sherman may be out of scale, but from the looks of it, it looks pretty good." It's only my third tank, how could I know any different? That proper top speed can be achieved simply by gearing down, sometimes replica speed isn't what would satisfy a lot of people.

While it sounds weird, although given 0-10 scoring, depending on the person reviewing, it's treated more so like 5-10 or a much heavier rating. And again, it's my third tank, it all seems alright to me? How many tanks have you made? Probably much more than I ever did.

I didn't make the stabilizer either, nor did I know that information on how to make one. And now I know for next time.

When why do you claim "Exterior Credibility: 9/10, Interior Credibility: 7/10, Performance Credibility: 9/10"

7/10 is in no way a "low rating"

A vertical stabilizer is as follows, Vertical Input & Tilt Sensor go into a Function 3 block, with the function "x+y*4"

In reference to stabilizers and WW2 tanks, a "stabilizer" indicates Vertical stabilization unless its specified to be "2 plane stabilization"

I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to tanks at all :steamhappy:
MrMereScratch  [author] 21 Jul, 2023 @ 6:41am
And the person who told me the Sherman was stabilized, who also challenged me to make one, never specified, and I also have no way of understanding that minimized Lua block the stabilizer sits in.

Here's where marketing comes in, I said "one of the best".
Which spot on the list of the best is it? We don't know, it's just "one" on there. There's better Shermans than mine.
And this is my third tank? Yeah. Notice how I marked my own interior credibility low as well.

This is all really nit-picky, but I dont feel like you can claim to have the "best sherman on the workshop" if it just isnt.

I mean it looks alright, but in no way realistic

This model of sherman just doesnt exist. Idk why you decided to make a small hatch 75 HVSS M4A3 with a late M4A1 engine deck??

The suspension and hull MG port look good, but its not really realistic otherwise

In the inside, you can't really call it "realistic" if it only has 2 turret crew members. It also goes much faster than it should by around 10 kph, which isn't terrible but its not realistic in any way.

But my main gripes are with the fire control, which has a horizontal stabilizer for some reason?? The sherman as we all know famously had a Vertical stabilizer, but it did not, nor did it have the capacity, for a horizontal stabilizer. Also, the reticle is completely innaccurate.

Im confused as to why you labelled the machine gun boxes as 12.86? The M2 was in 12.7x99/.50 BMG. And also you only labelled some of the drums for the main gun
