BBW Diesel Barge 5600 (Starer dock refuelling barge)

A self propelled version of the 5,600 L diesel raft to bring fuel out to refuel your nearby boat.

Includes an electric propulsion system for short range self propulsion. There is only so much the battery so I recommend game saving before attempting anything journey beyond "nearby".

Can be hand towed if needed which may be needed to get precise alignment of front docking connector.

Pumping out connection is at the bow and is fed by the pump.
Pumping in connection is at the stern without a pump (as when off it would block all flow)

An electrical connector on the bow can be used to recharge the bow. No cable is provided is keep costs down.


Larger batteries can be installed for more range. If doing so:
= Connect battery to the average microcontroller on the belly
= Change property of that MC to the # of batteries
= Connect electrical circuits >except< that motor connects to the opposite side of the relay

As built no generator is carried to manage costs and weights.

Can be converted to other liquids just be sure to do a double check that all tanks have been converted.

Once you refuel your main boat you could come back to the spawning dock to return the barge to recover its cost.

Useful for spawning to take to gantries to fill then return to fill up your base with fuel.

Given how generally stable the raft is should it actually flip over it is difficult to get back upright.

To assist with dealing with a flipped raft a midship mast with rope anchor is there as a place to connect a boat winch. In my tests the raft itself is to large for the player alone to flip over. Once winched sideways the side handhelds can be used to try to get past the critical angle to flip back upright. If no winch towing sideways by that midship mast may assist.
