AIM: Even More Mercs

Description
Is it just me or does the idea of operators donning everything but tactical gear in battle seem a little immersion-breaking? Well, with "AIM: Even More Mercs" you can add to your roster with an array of realistic operators inspired by soldiers of fortune from across the world. From the precision of former British SAS to the tactical brilliance of American Navy SEALs, each operator has been created to provide an authentic and immersive gaming experience.

CURRENT ROSTER:

18 AIM operators in Boonies/green camo/tactical gear
6 AIM operators in Helmets/green tactical gear
1 AIM operator in green ballcap and camo/tactical gear
1 AIM operator (female) no hat/green camo/tactical gear
1 Aim operator (female) grey/urban tactical gear/boonie
1 AIM operator with sand colored beret and green camo/tactical gear
5 IMP operators (2 in caps, 2 in boonies, 1 in sand colored beret)

Thanks to Necrosis for help coding and Skunk for his wonderful work on the nationality library (among the many others he's put out).

We will be adding custom voices to replace vanilla ones and starting in July '24 we'll be adding 5-10 new mercs per week with different roles, stats, perks, starting gear, levels and appearances to give you near limitless choices as you spread freedom from one end of the country to another.

I am very much open to feedback and suggestions on improving this mod (balancing perks, skill levels. etc). Soon, there will be dozens of new mercs from all around the world to join your war in Grand Chien. If you'd like a custom character added, put in a request and I'll add that to the list for future updates.

I will be posting up one of the final updates in the next couple of days that radically changes character portraits (for the better), levels, skills, levels,etc/

After that... it'll be mostly updates to fix major issues or to align with game updates.

I've started work on a squad, turn based tactical sandbox based in realism and survival mechanics and plan to launch it with a kickstarter mid August. Very excited about it. And it is consuming most of my time. I think, hope.... you all will like it too. I'll update here occasionally on it's progress. I spent the past week building the root of the new site for it.

Update: 12 of the 30+ Mercs have been re-leveled, balanced, perks/traits added. Added personal items to several for the sake of their backstory. At some point these items may turn into quests/rewards.

Hope to have another 12+ finished by tomorrow.

Note: I've tended to try and create overall 'balanced' characters when it comes to stats. I am open to modifying them further based on feedback/requests.

Added ability to craft First Aid Kits/Medkits from Meds. The default is 24/48 (Meds) but players can adjust this amount up or down in Mod options.

THIS WILL REQUIRE A NEW START. DO NOT do the update if you're still in a game . I've reorganized assets/file names and this will effect/break your current playthorugh.

Hope to be finished with this by Thursday or Friday at the latest.

**After this next update posts I will work on adding more mercs/imps with different gear/tactical appearance, etc. Also working on customizing voices for mercs; that is a ways away thopugh.

Yeah, It's been awhile. :)

This is almost a complete rework. Bios, levels, stats, perks all changed. Added ability to craft First Aid or Medikit from Meds. Trying to finish up the stats/builds today but that has always been the sticking point for me. I don't want then to be OP but not weak, and it can be a science trying to figure out 30 different builds across 5 levels, 5 Roles, etc. :/ Tried getting some help with figuring out those builds but no luck... so, I'm just going to get it done ad it'll be how it be. This will def. require a new game start.

After that, add new Mercs/Imps with different gear, add a Radio Station, maybe do a submod to transform Vanilla chafracters/profiles to be less cartoonish.
