Description
This is part two of what will hopefully be a small mini-campaign. It's an alternate universe take on a second Chernarussian Civil War turned global conflict. Feel free to leave comments and suggestions. This scenario will receive updates as I learn more about scenario editing.

Situation:

Following Operation Harvest Red, Chernarus maintained relations with the United States and even received military aid from 2014 to 2017. At the same time as this, ChDKZ remnants bided their time and began stockpiling resources for another shot at reuniting Chernarus with Russia. In 2019 the now revitalized ChDKZ forces launched a massive offensive across the South Zagorian region.

Following the surprise offensive, Chernarus began talks with the United States about resuming military aid and even about US forces being deployed to fight alongside the battered CDF. In 2020 the United States would send the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment to assist CDF forces in stabilizing the region. This was the first time US forces were in Chernarus since Operation Arrowhead in 2012.

After the United States' commitment to Chernarus, tensions with the East began rising as Russian news media claimed the second Chernarussian Civil War was "history correcting itself" and that the United States' true intention is to use Chernarus as yet another strategic location to deny Russian influence around the world. Along with this, a new unit within the ChDKZ formed known as the South Zagorian All Volunteer Battalion. This battalion was equipped with far better equipment, raising questions as to who supplying them. Rumors began developing that the Russian Ministry of Defense was supplying and using the unit in the same manner as the infamous Wagner Group when it was revealed a large portion of the unit were Russian nationals.

Mission:

The Pentagon wants to put the recent rumors of Russian involvement to bed. Army Ranger Ssgt. Joseph Chambers, callsign Jester, is tasked with advising a CDF SF unit while they crash a meeting between S-ZAVB forces and their equipment suppliers and destroy a weapons cache in the town of Turovo.
