ShireChild - The Southern Belle

Description
It's nearing winter and it's time to celebrate the harvest... Rumors of the return of evil brewing in these peaceful lands call for you farmhands to rise to prominence or perhaps descend to darkness. After months of work, the sequel to the critically-acclaimed ShireChild campaign has arrived!

This campaign spans levels 1-16 and has a huge focus on player agency and replayability. There are 3 distinct endings and each of the four acts has between 5-25 ways to play through. We feel this campaign really showcases everything Solasta has to offer and want to thank the Tactical Adventures Team for all the additions to the Dungeon Maker that made this possible (World Map! ^^).

We focused heavily on bringing all the aspects of tabletop D&D to life in this campaign and our aim is to capture that impactful role-playing feel. There is full crafting and all skill checks, languages and even some backgrounds affect gameplay in addition to full world map integration.

We want to thank the community for the immense support our team received in the original Shirechild campaign and we hope that you will enjoy this campaign as much if not more.

Let us know if you find any glitches as well. Enjoy!

@playak0 DAMN!!! I had tried to get inside that tower, but Misty Step/Dimension Door did not target inside it, so I figured it wasn't important. But they also didn't light up any other squares that could possibly be hiding it in that quadrant, so it had to be it. Fly was the answer, but kind of strange that you can't MS/DD inside. Thanks!

Hi Ossie, alright I'll give you a more explicit hint: The stone is in the northeast quadrant of Sal's Point. Also, yes that's about all there is in Milyan Prison. And yes, the Earth Tower is faction-locked so you cannot do both Ninja Factions in the same play-through. That's actually true of many locations in the game such as the Hall of Titans being available based on your party's good/evil alignment, which is calculated in the background throughout the campaign as you make decisions. You can only experience about 1/3-1/2 of the campaign material in a single play-through, as the campaign is quite non-linear by design

@playak0 OK, none of the areas opened after Sals Point seem to have anything I missed: none of the maps off the town itself, nothing in River Crossing, Titan Path Entrance, or Hall of Titans Shrine. Unless it's in Castle of the Eclipse itself. Any more explicit hints for the Half-dwarf stone?

Locked doors: thanks. Crestwood Tomb button was nicely hidden! Was not lighting up when I held down Alt. PS Mountain Cave I never figured out how to open the locked door but could loot the chest behind it by standing in front of the door regardless

Areas remaining in BransleyBane:
* Milyan Prison have triggered button which opens cells & angers guard with key to SW. Have found secret door in NW which leads to the exit to town. But still appears to be more open areas in NE?
* Earth Tower locked door. Not taking House of Shadows members. Seems to be faction blocked?

@Ossir1972, Oh good to hear it still worked, yea a couple of the quests I think don't officially close depending on outcome but it doesn't affect gameplay, you didn't miss anything on Peasants quest or Orcs choosing the options you did. The Half-dwarf stone is very difficult to find, it's in act IV after you reach Sals Point and requires a spell to access it. Regarding the locked doors there is a switch on a wall in Crestwood tomb that opens the door, Blue Lagoon requires a key but is a special mission related to choices you make with the Bandits and the Blue Delvers. The mountain cave may require a spell or perhaps a trait of your characters in party.

@playak0 the mainline "Rift in Time" quest has progressed way past "Head North to Honeycut/BransleyBane" - I'm now at "Head to the Castle of the Eclipse", which I assume is the final location. "Attack on Honeycut" quest has also completed, but "Slay the Peasants" and "Orc Capital" aren't progressing. I figured it wasn't breaking the mainline quest, just wanted to complete them as well.

Also can't find the final Soul Stone - the Half dwarf - which I assume unlocks another location containing the final Lost Blade. Where was that?

Finally, a few locked doors I can't get past: Crestwood Tomb, Blue Lagoon, and Mountain Cave. No keys to be found, and Knock spell doesn't work. Hints please!

Hi @Ossie1972, interesting, so the "Rift in Time" quest is stuck at "Head North to Honeycut"? Because that quest should progress to "Head North to BransleyBane" after you deal with HoneyCut. If mountain pass shows as available on map, that step should occur in same step as quest advancing. If the "Attack on Honeycut" quest doesn't progress, that is okay, it won't affect progress in main campaign,as long as "Rift in Time" advances. Also, the orc captial is a side quest and doesn't have direct impact on progressing through main campaign, just for leveling up and some possible loot so that quest progress shouldn't stop you from heading to Act 3 in BransleyBane.

@playak0 Mountain Pass and Bransleybane are both unlocked but I may have unlocked them through another faction quest? Wasn't really keeping track & I've definitely switched horses midstream for some of them. I've talked to the guard outside the Red Wedding entrance in Honeycut, after the Sorak battle, & he jumped me as a lone Sorak as well, so at least some part of the game knows that battle has happened. But that quest is just not updating. I'm well past any save pre the Sorak battle but happy to send you a current save if that would help.

Also Orc Capital quest - after beating the traitor prince, Chief Gillimok does not advance quest. May also be faction related?

Hi @Ossie1972, interesting, I just checked the quest variables and I don't see anything that would cause the quest not to advance. Does your game show the Mountain Pass travel-able on the world map up north? It should trigger the new location after you kill the Soraks and the quest should move on to "travel to Bransleybane." Perhaps, if you have a load before the Sorak battle you can retry the battle? It's possible the variable glitched, I've never run into that issue before in my playthroughs
