Roaming Dream Beast

This mod takes the Dream Beast monster from the Dreamer class mod and makes it a roaming boss that can spawn in any of the four vanilla regions. This mod does not alter the Dream Beast's gameplay stats, and is fully compatible with the Dreamer class mod (and can be installed with or without that mod).

If you enter a region where the Dream Beast is roaming, there is a 50/50 chance that a randomly selected Hallway fight will be replaced with it, similar to the Thing. Killing the Dream Beast will reward you with one of three boss specific trinkets.

To prevent early game problems, the Dream Beast will only start roaming after the apprentice version of the flesh boss is killed. If this boss has already been killed on a save in progress, the Dream Beast will begin roaming immediately after passing a week.


Due to the nature of roaming bosses, uninstalling this mod has to be done carefully in order to prevent crashes. Please see the Roaming Dream Beast Remover mod and follow the instructions in the description if you wish to uninstall the mod. If you do not follow those instructions, crashes and bugs will occur.
