ALSO: Do not play with CAP/Daktek enabled/installed, as the mods change certain settings that will mess up how these robots work.

Anything that breaks because of gmod or addon updates will be deleted.

Planet Derilani is somewhere in the backwater territories of human-occupied space. Humans colonized the planet early on in their space age, over time it became a very prosperous and beautiful planet much to the envy of it's neighboring colonies. At some point the human population there declared independence from the rest of the human territories, calling itself the Ameleit Sovereignty and a war for independence was waged against the main human faction, the Sava Hegemony.

This war was bloody and brutal, despite the Hegemony's massive number advantage the Ameleits had the technological edge as well as a cloning facilities to fight the Hegemony to a stalemate. In a last desperate push to kick the Hegemony out of the system the Ameleits activated several WMDs, destroying a continent and causing great ruin to a majority of their home planet. This action would cause the Hegemony to withdraw and leave the system, but also set them back greatly- so much so that they're now trapped on their home planet since most of their space fleet was unable to be maintained. The use of WMDs also caused a significant number of the population to turn on the Ameleit government- forming a new independent faction called the Yevilian Confederacy that now seeks to imprison and destroy the Ameleit Remnants while also looking to heal and protect Derilani from further destruction.


Tasire LLC used to be an intergalactic security company, now it's a mercenary army looking to make the most profit out of any conflict, even going as far as instigating problems so they can get paid to fix them. They arrived to planet Derilani long after the independency wars was fought, being paid by various entities and groups to do a variety of jobs on the planet. Most of the time they are wiping out the local factions though there are cases where their objectives change and they have to assist or leave the other factions alone. They do not hold any true ill will against the other factions but they have a hatred of players, possibly because they see them as a rival or big threat to their operations.

SUBFACTION: Gold Division

Gold Division is one of many "elite" groups under the Tasire umbrella. Their namesake comes from the group usually being hired out by the ultra-rich galactic elite in exchange for an extraordinary amount of gold bars. The name also has affected the personalities of the mercs in the group, as their inflated egos usually fire off more than their weapons do sometimes. Their leader is known to be something of a huge glory-hound and braggart to top it off.

The remains of the sovereignty are still around and kicking with their cloning labs still operational. Despite being the biggest force on the planet there are too many problems for them to get back into gear, mostly because they are fighting a civil war and are under attack by other factions coming to Derilani to capitalize on it's weakened state. More and more pieces of their technology are getting stolen and reverse engineered by other factions and they feel that they may have to use WMDs again should any other faction get a hold of theirs. Many in the remnant feel like they should get rid of their WMDs however and there is ongoing debate among the higher-ups on what to do. This faction doesn't trust players as they know full-well players have the potential to pull out even worse WMDs out of their pockets.

SUBFACTION: Ameleit Dust Fleet

A fleet that has been fighting the Sava Hegemony since the wars kicked off. After getting lost in a strange space phenomena for several years they have somehow managed to return to the galaxy and have made their way back to Derilani. While their ships can't be maintained and used for battle they did bring back with them hardened troops- veterans of the independence war. While most of these veteran troops now hold leadership roles in both government and the military a lot of their more disposable assets will be fielded on Derilani.

A new faction born out of the horrified and disgusted populace of the Ameleit Sovereignty after WMDs were used. An overwhelming majority of the population flocked to the confederacy after it formed and now they have one united goal: to protect planet Derilani at all costs from further harm. They seek to destroy the remains of the Ameleit as well as kick all other factions off the planet while looking for terraforming tech to restore Derilani back to it's former glory. This also includes players.

SUBFACTION: Yevilian Co-Op

A controversial group within the Confederacy that is willing to cooperate and receive help from foreigners. This includes players. While accepting foreign help is not necessarily breaking any laws in the confederacy, it is a bad look politically since most Confederacy citizens had become very xenophobic in recent times.
