Jaggid's General Research with Breakthroughs

Description
This mod combines concepts from two of my other mods.

It adds a series of "general research projects", each which takes longer than the previous one. These projects are designed primarily to give your researchers something to work on between breakthrough discoveries.

Unlike the vanilla version of the mod, however, this one actually rewards you for each research project completed, by unlocking a random Breakthrough Technnology upon completion. Note that the breakthrough technology does also then need to be researched.



Be aware that the way the game randomizes breakthroughs to unhide, it could pick one that you already have available. So sometimes you just won't get anything new.

For those interested in a similar mod that does NOT unlock breakthroughs, you may prefer Jaggid's General Research Projects.
Do NOT enable that mod and this one at the same time.



Warning

The "Explore" expedition which can reward a random breakthrough has a parameter that you must have 10 or fewer breakthrough technologies already unhidden to find it via exploration.

Because of this, if you wish to maximize how many random unlocks you get from explore expeditions, do NOT do these general research projects until you have hit the magic number of 10 unhidden breakthroughs.

Breakthroughs which are unhidden count toward that limit, regardless of whether they are already researched or not.

Lol, I was using the Cyberpunk Scenario mod (which includes faster research tables) and eight people researching, five with the Genius trait. That's with the other research mod making it 5 times as slow.

Love all your mods btw and appreciate all the support you've given to the game.

@Mantastic, that is correct. It takes a really, really, really long time to get through all 12 though even with research speeds cranked up.

You may be the first person to have actually done so....I never have (other than via cheats for testing the mod), and I made the dang thing!

Looks like the mod has a limitation of 12 uses before it disappears.

I do not know why i was thinking you were the author of beyond stranded. LOL that why the mods are not working. sturdy clothing mod and his clash as well as the research mods. oh well.

They may have a conflict of some time. I'm not super familiar with the latest version of Beyond Stranded, but it is a very big mod, so it's quite possible.

this mod and beyond stranded. I get a message that their is a problem with the mod and it exits. this mod give you all the bonus techs the maps misses but so far it says the beyond stranded only give 2 missed tech but i cant use these together for some reason.

I get an error trying to add this mod and your overhaul mod.
