Description
Controls the Condition/Durability loss multiplier from Rain
Originally from Vanilla+ mod by Cthulhu

What does this mod do?
Reduces the weapons durability loss when it's raining. Default is 100% which means if you lose 1% condition normally you would lose 2%. This mod changes the default setting from 100% to 50%

===========================================================================

I received permission from Cthulhu to pull code from Vanilla+ for re-publishing and editing.
Vanilla+ has some cool things about it, I just didn't like that It was all packaged into one mod. As some parts of it conflicted with other mods I was running at the time. So I asked Cthulhu if I could pull some of his code out and make it modular for the community.

can we ask abut mod that removes rain effect?

I wouldn't mind if the rain and fog just went away. They're both rather UN-immersive to me.

I have a machine gun that can't even fire it's entire magazine without failing when it's raining.

And water makes my AK jam? Reallly? REALLY????

Meanwhile, do sniper rifles really need another reason to be the best weapon (rain is simply not an equivalent factor between semi-auto and auto weapons)?

And fog... don't even get me started. Okay, too late. I already started. If you shoot a dude square in the chest, no amount of fog is going to keep him alive. At least... not in real life.

So, yeah. I agree with KAMJAH. These two features don't add anything interesting to the game for me. To me, they're both rather gamey features. I say that because they don't add immersion or tactical challenges for me. They quite literally take me out of the immersion because of what they do. They're simply not realistic in the least.

That said, thank you for this mod. It at least helps a little.

total against that idea. weather is an important strategic element which should not be removed.
