Gurza Walking Fortress (VANILLA, SCRIPTS, NO DLC, PVP-READY)

Description
After spending minutes and losing many fighter crafts for destroying the legs of a metal monstrocity, the enemies was soon to realise that all the main guns of the behemoth was still intact, continuing the neverending slaughter. The colossal walker was just turned into a heavily-armored bunker.

Being an enormous battle walker the size of a base, "Gurza" posess a serial number WF-AM-AA-RR-012 and an absurdly durable armor. This mech was designed for a heavy-duty warfare, surpassing its predecessors in almost everything, incluing speed, agility, manuverability, defensive and attacking capabilities, allowing it to fight on par with many conventional rovers on the ground while shooting down fighters, drones and battleships from the skies.

Yes, you heard it right. This is possibly the very first mech in a whole SE Workshop that is actually usable in real pvp battle.

Have fun :}

P.S. While testing this mech i found several critical issues in its design and fixed them in reuploads, so the looks of this machine in-game will sighly differ from that on a pictures presented here.

Hey, figured I could show you some progress I have made

Not using the larger missiles here, just the small dorsal ones

that is fine, I usually just fire the missiles ahead of time and simply have them fly in formation with me
then If something needs deleting, I press the button to turn on the murder

Yeah, that's exactly what i meant. If i were you, i would've made a custom missile launcher on top of the mech and the missiles themselves propelling horizontally upward first on activation before toggling the AI and payload in the air via timers. And, yes, as i was saying, don't generally fire them when the thing walks XD

I tested this somewhat and it isn't much of an issue unless the missiles are launched right as it bounces from the ground. I made missile mechs on chassis specifically designed to jump/strafe so I am somewhat used to their quirks.
I do need to give it more work tho. Current version had little issues with the SG missiles but the LG missiles were quite dangerous to use, by virtue of them demolishing the mech if they launched badly.

Ah, you mean those missiles... Just remember to stop the walker each time you wanna launch them, because this machine is quite jumpy on its feets XD

Wonderfull! I mean the missiles themselves are a player made scripted weapon so believe it or not they are fully vanilla, though obviously the presence of weaponcore means an easier time tracking targets and any modded thruster or warhead helps with the increasing of the violence

@overwerk

Yes, ofc! Just credit me for the original build, and you can use it wherever and however you want.

I also have a modded version of this mech (likn at the end of this page) which is suited with more deadly modded weapons and shields, so if you don't want to refit the machine yourself, you can just use that one.

Hi there! Just stumbled upon this mech while looking for the other modded ones and I can say this is really impressive!

I wanted to use it in one of my videos, and aslo add an extra weapon system to it (guided interplanetary cruise missiles with nuclear warheads, for fun times). Would that be ok with you? (I will of course give the WS link in the description, and I can assist if you wanted a proper missile mech).

Is this practical? probably not, but I do think there is at least a tangible interest in gunning down someone's battleship and then atomizing their home base haf a continent away before they even have a chance to take off for round 2

Oh... I checked my creative world's mod list and found Weaponcore. I have the A-36 Mobile Suit, and it requires a LOT of mods. One of them requires Weaponcore.

Gurza has a hilarious reaction to walking on ice. It bounces about, like a child skipping along in the rain.

I'd like to see a video of Gurza demolishing fighters, bases, and (possibly) other PvP-worthy mechs.

@Lussataur,

The only explaination i can think of is that you have a Weapon Core mod installed, which changes a vanilla weapons to the modded blocks.

Anyways, as far as i know, you shouldn't worry about the notification and past it right in, everything is gonna be alright. But, again, if you have Weaponcore, this mech's barrage weapons will not be working as intended, so i recommend testing this one in pure vanilla.
