Chell's Field Day

Description
Introducing the new Energy Destabilization Field, a unique testing element guaranteed to make your test subjects cringe!

This map introduces the field in 3 steps, showcasing it's relationship with other elements. As such, it is a TUTORIAL.

Thanks to Carlos for input and mapping ideas, as well as Tanger2b for . . . uh, being Tanger2b.

Made in the span of 2 days, because why the hell not?

Are there any hippocrites in the audience? Get them up against the field.

So uh . . . chamber 3 kind of was the product of repetitive listening to The Wall. Really enjoyed it. Shine on my friends.

I'm sorry, but I don't get it. What is special about these chambers? Like,y they are well designed, I enjoyed them, but what's the "unique testing element"?

How to pass the 3rd chamber?

99% of the workshop is junk! So many junk maps reach the front page. You are part of the 1% (400,000+*.01=4000 maps).

I needed players to walk through with objects and not be able to shoot.

It's literally just a visual indicator for those cheap "no, you can't portal here from this spot" moments. I compared the other fields all to this one . . . this one fit the bill. I might revisit this in the future, but as for right now, it is what it is, mainly because I have other things to do.

But anyways . . . I tried it. Threw stuff at the wall and saw what stuck.

I'm happy that there's actually still people like you on the workshop that aren't brainwashed into thinking everything is great. There's some stuff that's highly rated on here that really shouldn't be, my stuff included.

You also have to apply that to the custom fizzlers I pointed you towards as well as the default fizzler that everyone knows how it behaves. What makes your fizzler a better choice than those fizzler options?

That's actually the philosophy that led me to make the field in the first place- a map I'm working on [that's suspended due to other projects] would have been broken with a fizzler, but the field solves that and I just needed a way to introduce players to the element prior to them playing the map - hence this map.
