F93 Cold-war Fighter-Bomber

The F93 is a Cold-war style light fighter-bomber designed for interception and limited ground attack capability. It features decent maneuverability and is very versatile, despite a limited hardpoint count.

FEATURES:
-max speed 120 m/s straight line
-3500 litres fuel internal, can carry 2*360L drop tanks for extra range
-about 2L/S fuel consumption at max throttle, meaning about 29 minutes of internal fuel (drop tanks provide an extra 6 minutes)
-air-to-air refuelling probe
-2*20mm cannons, 1*40mm cannon internal (200/40 rounds respectively, if fired simultaneously they will run out at approximately the same time)
-basic radar rangefinder
-RWR and 14 loads of chaff
-Radio set, Transponder beacon/signaler with distance finder

STARTUP:

-Main battery breaker ON
-Fuel pump ON
-Press engine starter until engine runs
-set lights/heater as required
-set L and/or R wing pumps if carrying drop tanks
-release parking brake & close canopy
-Taxi at around .2-.3 throttle

TAKEOFF:

-set throttle to max, rotate plane gently at 35-50 M/S
-try to pitch up gently to prevent tail strikes

LANDING:

-set throttle to .47-.50 for final approach
-when right above runway, cut power to idle for touchdown & deploy brakes

How to use weapons:

-Cannons are armed with the switches on the bottom panel and are fired with spacebar.
-suspended ordnance such as missiles/bombs are armed with "pylon L/R launch" switches and launched with the 1 key
-dispensers such as the rocket pods are armed with "pylon L/R fire" and fired with spacebar. If you want to use your own weapons dispensers, the fire signal simply sends a bool ON signal through channel 1 on the hardpoint.

List of suspended weapons from left to right:
-16-shot rocket pod for air-to-ground use, or shooting down large bombers in a straight line. Fires 4 rockets in a salvo when the trigger is pulled.
-AA-40 SACLOS beam riding missile. Used against point ground targets or large aerial targets. To guide, turn the radio on & set the radio frequency to 100. guided simply by looking at the target (binoculars recommended)
-360 litre drop tank
-medium bomb
-AA-40R Radar guided missile. essentially the AA-40 but with a radar seeker instead. Lock range is 1250 metres, but it can fly much further and generally flies straight after launch, with a slight ballistic drop.
-heavy air-to-ground rocket with a medium warhead. recommended launch range 1000M or less.
