Soup, if you want to use a more compact counterweight system, use the invisible 40kg weights from some of my jets

ripe_potato the batteries are to prevent it from tipping backwards on the ground :( they arent electrically to the main electrical systems (they only power the cockpit side panel pivots), so they dont actually contribute electrical charge to anything else on the plane
