Eldarium in the Exiled Lands (Revision 12)

Description
Welcome!
Hello everyone,

Once lost to time, this mod has risen back to the light.

With this mod, I have added Decaying Eldarium drops to several end-game loot tables in the Exiled Lands. In addition, scrolls for learning how to craft various weapons and armor from Siptah have been incorporated into the aforementioned loot tables. Siptah-exclusive gear pieces may also drop from certain boss-type enemies.

I've restricted Eldarium drops to areas and enemies which would make some degree of sense.

The following list of locations contains mild spoilers, so look at your own peril.

* Mobs and bosses in the Unnamed City. The Giant-Kings had a presence on Siptah, so it's conceivable that they would have acquired Eldarium and sent it back to the City. The Relic Hunters in the area would likely have plundered some from the ruins as well.

* Mobs and bosses in the Volcano and Well of Skelos. The Serpent-Men are an elder race, so it would make sense for them to have some. By proximity, the Votaries of Skelos would also have access to the material.

* Mobs and bosses in the Sunken City, as well as the Lemurians. The Deep Ones are considered an elder race, and contact with their Lemurian worshippers would ensure that both groups had access to Eldarium.

For exact chance and range values, please refer to the 'Drop Rates' Discussion tab on this page.

In addition to incorporating Eldarium into the relevant loot tables, I have also created a 0-cost feat that allows players to craft a Delving Bench. The requirements are:

* Player level of 50 or higher.

* Furniture Maker feat (available at level 10, costs 1 Feat Point).

It's the same recipe as Siptah's Delving Bench, so it requires the same resources.

There will be people who believe that this mod bypasses the Isle of Siptah paywall. This is NOT the case. All assets pertinent to this mod are able to be spawned in via the Admin Panel by players who do not own Isle of Siptah. The mod simply grants players the ability to acquire gear they have access to but cannot obtain through normal gameplay on the Exiled Lands.

Mod Compatibility
The mod makes use of a modcontroller to merge data tables without direct edits. Refer to the topic in the Discussions tab for a list of affected assets. It should be compatible with most mods, even those that also affect loot tables.

This mod does make one direct edit to the Dismantling Bench BP, so it may be incompatible with other mods that do so, but the chances are pretty low.

Known incompatible mods will be listed in Discussions when they are reported.

Common Questions
"What happens if I remove this mod from my game mid-playthrough?"

All Eldarium materials and weapons / armor dropped from enemies or crafted via mod-related feats will still be there, but the drops will cease and all feats added by the mod, as well as any unused scrolls, will disappear. Learned feats will be regained if the mod is re-added.

"Do I need to have purchased Isle of Siptah for this mod to work?"

No, it should work regardless of whether you own the expansion or not.

"What happens if I use this mod on Isle of Siptah?"

There are some affected NPCs which are shared between the two maps which can drop decaying eldarium and scrolls.

"Does this mod affect the Delving Bench or its recipes in any way?"

No.

"I kill bad boi and it din't drop Eldarium??? u suck."

Kill a couple more and tell me how it goes.

Conclusion

But I think it is never late to say thanks. :)

Very nice, I came here searching for a way to get eldarium and the delving bench on exiled lands for a way to get specific hot and cold resistant gear, thanks!

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

Revision 12 has been released (albeit slightly later on Friday than I would've liked). Here are some brief highlights:

* A recipe scroll for the Voidforged Vagabond armor set has been incorporated into various loot tables (will update the 'Drop Rates' discussion tab soon for more info).

* As of the March bugfixing update by Funcom, the Drowned armor pieces have returned to the base game, so the placeholder items I made are no longer necessary and have been removed. Any existing Drowned armor should be retained with no issues.

Thanks for reminding me, I get sidetracked with other projects and various things.

I'll try and aim for an update on Friday (my time) as the Voidforged Vagabond stuff shouldn't take that long to implement.

@vincet.omnia I don't believe I've added it yet, but I can certainly do so!

Hey Swoop! Just a quick question, and possible suggestion: Is the Voidforged Vagabond Armor recipe available as a drop with your mod, and if not, would it be possible to add it? I enjoy using the armour as my alternate harvesting kit on Siptah, and it would be great to see it in the Exiled Lands :-) Thanks, and be well.

1. No worries! :)

2. Yeah.... a reason. I killed that monster a couple of times, and realized that no special loot can be gained from it, but instead died a couple of times, WITH my friend.... So yes, that Molten Heart can wait for me...

3- WOW!!! Holy anatomy! That's a long and complex and detailed guide! It's nice of you, that you take your time and write it down, so we can use it. As my main language isn't english, I'm happy to even write these little answers or some letters with as little mistakes as I can. I hate the terminology, though.

Anyway, I rather stick with playing the game, and using the amusing mods you people create for us. Thanks for your work - for now, and in advance!

@Dark Lord Sorry for the delay,

Yeah, Rockslide is a real pain in the ass, but this should give at least some reason for going after him.

In all honesty, this mod is not very complex in terms of structure. It essentially revolves around the use of a ModController to merge new loot entries into loot tables, and in some cases assign new loot tables to certain NPCs. Some copies of feats and recipes were made as well. I wrote a bit about the process in my combat mod guide, the basic concepts can be applied to any table-based mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2158109909
