Description
A remake of the original handheld coilgun mod that was discontinued. For standalone use or added to mods.

ONLY fires standard coilgun boxes, no special ammo like piercing or explosive!

Requires 50 Electrical and 30 weapon skill to craft and 50 Weapon skill to use, under 35 Weaponskill chance to flinch from high recoil, no bruising.

Heavy, slower movement rate even when worn on back including minor propulsion speed decrease from scooters.
6% less damage 85 down from 90 propulsion on projectiles.
a Regular battery gets 100 shots, a Fulgurium battery fires a whole box.
Low chance to slightly stun/flinch user with Weaponskill 35 or less.

Floats in water with a small light to see where the user is or if it gets dropped.
Has an attachment slot for flashlights.
Large item only fits in container storage slots.
Requires 1 Fulgurium and a modest amount of metal and a couple FPGA to craft due to its internal power amplification mechanisms that allow it to function on just battery power.

So recent changes are Battery is the lowest slot so you can hotkey swap them, at 200 rounds per box, I made it easy at 100 shots per standard battery which might be kind of high but I am not trying to battery tax this thing where you need 4+ per coil box. Fulg battery will do an entire box so you can pin a standard fulg battery to the box for accurate ammo count.

gun has minor recoil effect from VWO now I wanted it to have more feedback to the user that the shots were going out and the recoil to improve as the weapon skill increases. If you don't like something about it feel free to take it and redo it to use any coilgun box, not use battery or whatever.

Not sure if thats just me, but after the latest update i am unable to shoot the gun. Im using regular coilgun ammo with the immersive ammo mod. It says that its out of ammo.

This mod is absolutely free use, As it was posted as such previously by someone else and I cleaned it up the way I thought it would slot in to the game as a neat if somewhat gimmicky weapon.

the idea for this was very specific to burn up regular coil gun boxes when you switched to piercing/explsoive/depleted. If you want a non balanced version take it and put it in your own mod.

huh....so that gun's not compatible with unlimited items mod....so no unlimited ammo for it, bit of a shame
