Elections and Movements Events Expansion is a lightweight mod designed to allow a bit more dynamic interaction with the elections and movements system.


1. Enhanced election events: Did it bother you that elections gave you 1 or 2, maaaaybe 3 events in an election cycle, none of which meaningfully changed the outcome? Miss Victoria 2's election event system? This mod introduces a very similar system and is designed to allow for a much greater range of motion in election outcomes, giving you greater control but not guaranteeing success.

2. Movements now provide a degree of direct interactivity. Functionally similar to the elections system, you will see dynamic events associated with movements, many of which will give you some choice, trading off support for radicalism and vice-versa, but can also rapidly cause a movement's radicalism to spiral out of control.


Compatible with 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5. Nothing in this mod is tightly coupled to any vanilla systems, it makes no changes to any vanilla files, and thus it should be compatible with any mods that do not remove vanilla laws.

This mod probably requires VOTP for some of the event graphics.

There may be bugs that I haven't come across in the dozens of games I've run this in, please leave a report if you find one. I may also do some additional balance passes.
