Raptor Class - WOTC

Description
My first real modding attempt.

The Raptor is intended to be a mobile class that delivers accurate strikes with small arms fire-- great for finishing off low-health targets in cover or executing combos with other squad members. The Raptor's skill trees allow specialization in mobility (Soar), marking targets (Hunt), or damage (Strike).

The Raptor uses the LW2 promotion scheme (promotions go up to Brigadier, which is 1 more than base XCOM), but is not LW2 compatible AFAIK. This class uses a pistol and holotargeter as its primary/secondary weapons, respectively.

So while tinkering with other mods I discovered it might've been an issue with compatibility, I couldn't pinpoint witch mods was causing the issue but its working now :)

Thanks lordabizi! I did try quick draw, couldn't get it to work with a primary weapon.

After having played a couple campaigns with this class, I think it's pretty decently balanced as-is; the damage bonuses make single shots competitive with contemporary assault rifles. Faceoff probably needs moved to one promotion later.

If I could go back in time I'd probably give up on the pistol primary concept and just use pistol perks on the class. There's a world where I revisit the idea later.

Suggestion to an equivalent ability to Light 'Em Up: Quick Draw works (although the text will be wrong - it'll mention the secondary weapon). Marauder also works, if you use the mod Marauder Affects Pistol.

Hey Adam! No, never did figure it out. The other class mod I have on the WS works fine, so I'm stumped. Glad you like it!

Hey Cruza did you figure out the weapon glitch? My guess is it's either a conflict in classes or a gun conflict, have to say I am enjoying the one working raptor I have!

Huzzah!

It does work!

Well, only one way to find out!

"Maybe." I'm leaning no, but it depends if the perk pack you have installed uses the same ability names and descriptions as the ones used in the LW2 classes and perks mod I use as a source.

Hey, so this class looks really fun, especially since it has that Gunslinger feel, but I have a question. I have a LWOTC perk pack mod instead of the class mods, will this mod still work with it?
