Health Inspector

Description

Those messy customers are starting to cost you money! The Health Inspector takes a fee when you don't clean up after your patrons, leave garbage in the bins, or items on tables!

Be careful! You don't want to attract rats.

I can't quite tell if this is intentional or not, but rats spawning not only counts normal floor mess, but also the water spots put on the floor by sinks. Rather annoying if you're using the sink to clean messes made by hobs, or just don't want to block every slot around the sink with counters or other things you have that prevent mess. Also kind of looks weird to see a rat spawn and then disappear within five seconds

Is this intentional?

Please add "Clean up Time" at the of the round. That would be perfect.

Exactly half of what i was looking for in a mod

For tight spaces, rats shouldn't be creating mess rapidly, they should be timed or create a certain amount in depending width and height spaces.

Another left-out that shouldn't really be left-out: preserved jars from the preserving station. This one is more a mod compat issue due to only being accessible through mods even though the actual content seems to be entirely vanilla in origin. Originally spotted with modded food items, but verified to happen to jarred vanilla food.

I suppose to be fair, if I was a health inspector and saw someone putting chili in a jar and leaving it out overnight for tomorrows customers, I wouldn't be giving them a very high safety rating either. I doubt the inspector would accept "but it's a *magical* jar!" as an excuse either.

Hey @Brawley that sounds like an interesting one, I'll have a look at it when I get a chance! :D

Possible bug found: flower pots MIGHT count as items left out? I had 2 and didn't use them for the first two days and got dinged for two left-outs both days after making sure stuff was clean, then when I intentionally used them I didn't get the penalty.

I like this mod a lot, do you (or anyone) have any advice for slowing the last customers down so you can mop AND put dishes away while they leave? I always get dinged for the last dishes. It's only like 3 gold at worst, but I want to minimize losses and make the Inspector eat their words. I was hoping to find a mod that adds an extra like 5 seconds to end of day, but none of my known searches returned anything like that.
