The UBI is a good idea, although I don't think it can't alleviate the unemployement malus. However it could be buffed.
Please fix the mod and it will be much better because even in the worst scenarios I'm getting %90 percent of vote
I got the same issue as Unclaimed did, i disabled all the other mods I was using and it still messed up the unemployment rate.
but I think these negative consequences should be alleviated by the unemployment benefits
and secondly, as the game narratively advance and the industrial automation gets further and further, increasing unemployment, it makes sense that it worsens things if no action is taken.
But, I think giving people compensation (as the resources are now produced by machines) should remove these unemployment maluses. For me, I think it should be added to the universal basic income policy (when it's high) as it makes being unemployed not an issue anymore (I would also make it reduce the luddite riots)
Basically, I think max UBI should remove the negative consequences of umemployment (and luddite riots)
