R-20 (SS-97) Space update and multiplayer friendly

Description
Please leave a thumbs up if you enjoy our work!

This version of R-20(SS-97) is now compatible with all current updates and optimized for multiplayer. We have to upload it as a new creation due to one of our team is away at boot camp and we were unable to update it.

Features:
- Realistic air system
- Full 1:1 design
- Realistic engine control
- Highly detailed interior and exterior
- Full ballast control
- Functional torpedo reloading
- CO2 monitoring system
- Radio mast and periscopes
- 1943 modifications
- Functioning breaker boxes
- Optimized for multiplayer

Please note:

You will need to charge the air banks before you dive. You will get two surfaces on a charge with a skillful Dive Officer.

Torpedo tube draining will take longer and might not be perfect. same goes with bilge pumps.

To maximize efficiency and cooling, its recommended to run at 60% when running standard speed to maintain a float charge. You can run the engines at 100% for about 20 minutes before they start to overheat.

To start:
1. Open either the rear hatch or the conning tower hatch(This must be done or you will suck all the air out of the boat and die)
2 Turn on the pumps and power for each engine then crack open the lube oil isolation valves until you get good oil pressure.
3. turn the induction valves located above each engine
4. turn the key to start the engine.

To secure the engines for dive, Press the button on the front of each engine, shut the power off and close the induction valves.

To use the torpedoes, do not go faster than speed notch two, as the torpedoes may malfunction at higher speeds. To fire a torpedo, open the torpedo door and flood the tube, once flooded you may fire. Wait 5 seconds before closing the tube and draining the tube. All water from the tubes drain into forward trim so you may need to pump water aft to level the boat

Thanks to:
~Brooke for the initial design
~Bubblehead Blake for his extensive refit and modifications to the engine and systems for the space DLC. Without him, This boat would be still broken.
~Flakhappy for his extensive research and help by supplying blueprints and colorizing vintage photos for a more accurate interior. Also for his help in troubleshooting the engines and ballast system.
~Phishercat and Vivideye for their work on the deck gun, periscope and machine shop

We hope you enjoy this nearly forgotten slice of history, as we have made the controls as true to life as possible without requiring a crew of 26 to operate.

~HISTORY~
Laid down on June 4th, 1917 at Union Iron Works of San Francisco and completed on October 26th 1918, USS R-20, started her extensive service life as the last of the Group one of two US R-class submarines.

The first group, R-1 to R-20 were kept after WWI while the second group, R-21 to R-27, were scrapped due to the Treaty of Versailles. After years of peacetime, the remaining R class submarines were mothballed in 1930.

However, upon the outbreak of WW2, USS R-1 to R-20 were hastily brought back into service in 1941 with several sent to the Royal Navy for the Lend-Lease Act. After extensive modifications, USS R-20 was made combat ready, now designated SS-97. these upgrades included new sonar, as well as hull modifications.

These vessels were used for coastal defense in the early parts of the war. However, around 1943, they were taken from coastal defense to training where they remained until their decommissioning in late 1945 and scrapping in 1946.

Only three R Class Submarines remain as sunken wrecks, of which two were the result of friendly fire with loss of life

my torp does not have the gear to track you would need to find something compatible or build one that fits.
