my torp does not have the gear to track you would need to find something compatible or build one that fits.
poolypop 27 May @ 7:36pm
is that all? or do i need to do some logic and some block placements.
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 27 May @ 6:10pm
cut and paste one you will need to make sure the hard point connector is in the right place
poolypop 26 May @ 7:57am
Hey, how do i transform a homing torpedo to be compatable with this sub?
mattrichards12 6 May @ 7:38pm
Thank you for making a realistic submarine and thank you for adding the history it makes me feel I am not getting a stolen submarine so thank you very much
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 31 Jan @ 11:13pm
it works it was named that more for the pressure systems added during that update.
jjordan 31 Jan @ 8:10pm
so if i dont have the space dlc it wont work :(
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 28 Jan @ 7:00am
nothing. It was in an old photo so we put it there. some things are just decor
Shad0w_real 27 Jan @ 4:00pm
what does the torque crank above the blow ballast controls do?
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 25 Jan @ 4:53pm
when the ship spawns the hydrophone is facing straight ahead
poolypop 25 Jan @ 1:29pm
quick question, how do i know where the hydrophone contact is for the ship baring of the sub
poolypop 19 Jan @ 10:55am
that's fine ill just use the homing torps from the R-20 that is broken
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 19 Jan @ 6:40am
i built the torps so not likely to find any. you will have to modify an existing one to fit
poolypop 18 Jan @ 4:26pm
oh and before i start adding homing torps to this, what workshop homing torps are compatible?
for reloading and launching on this.
poolypop 18 Jan @ 7:59am
nnow i can hit em over and over :D
poolypop 18 Jan @ 7:59am
oh okie ^-^
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 18 Jan @ 6:04am

poolypop 23 Nov, 2024 @ 4:42pm

poolypop 4 Nov, 2024 @ 4:00pm

poolypop 3 Nov, 2024 @ 12:24pm

Hey whats new, I haven't play with this in a while since January.

Battery water/Potable water are cosmetic. Aux tank LP air is for pressurizing the aux tank to help drain it. you can open that valve and use the low pressure blower in that tank. LP blower only works on the surface. use that system instead of you high pressure air to keep tanks empty. Oxygen bleed is for breathable air. AMBT and FMBT (Aft main blast tank) (Forward main ballast tank) air isolation can be used to secure high pressure air from entering the tanks. there are many systems on this sub that can be very complex. most of it can be ignored by normal users. for advanced users systems will help balance subs that have launched torpedoes, are refueling, in an emergency situation, or need a back up or work around.
Shad0w_real 26 Oct, 2024 @ 8:33pm
what are the battery water reserver, aux tank LP air, and the potable water tanks for? and are they something i have to monitor and switch on or are they just for show, same for things like oxygen bleed, AMBT air isolation, and circ water supply isolation
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 13 Oct, 2024 @ 12:44pm
according to the sailors who served on them, all of the hatches were opened for air circulation and the intake. (aft escape hatch excluded)
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 13 Oct, 2024 @ 12:43pm
In short you should not fill the ballast all the way. take on only what is needed for depth control. be sure to charge the air banks before diving. aux tanks are for variable ballast. you fill that tank and can move water forward and aft to help level the ship. flooding the torpedo tubes. launching torpedoes will change your buoyancy. It takes practice.
Shad0w_real 12 Oct, 2024 @ 5:11pm
Do all the hatches need to be open when running the engines or just the ones in the engine room, also I’m a little confused, what’s the aux ballast for as well as the aux controls under the fuel displays, what are they for exactly?
B_ManCoco 10 Sep, 2024 @ 6:02pm
I notice she has a good tilt and it hard to keep ehr level in the water she you also have to add 4 to teh depth to get the depth you want
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 8 Sep, 2024 @ 1:04pm
They were open induction engines. you need to leave the hatches open.
B_ManCoco 8 Sep, 2024 @ 12:25pm
yo where induction valve
TBNRweb 29 Aug, 2024 @ 2:08pm
I love that you added actual pictures of the submarine. I love history, so this just instantly impressed me.
jackriley427 28 Aug, 2024 @ 6:25pm
Can you add a functional water system?
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 28 Aug, 2024 @ 2:53pm
no that was filled in port. these vessels were coastal and normally only went out for a few weeks tops. normally just over the weekend
jackriley427 28 Aug, 2024 @ 2:19pm
Did it have a water maker to turn see water into drinking water for the crew
Bubblehead Blake  [author] 28 Aug, 2024 @ 2:10pm
so fun fact about the R-20. it did not have an air induction as more modern subs do. When running the engines you need to have the hatches open. That is how they did it.
jackriley427 28 Aug, 2024 @ 8:42am
Hey I have a few questions/ requests
Shad0w_real 27 Aug, 2024 @ 6:22pm
i play with player damage on, and after awhile i start to die of over preasure, is there something im not doing or a way to fix this (i would open a hatch but it sometimes happens under water)
Brooke7125  [author] 24 Aug, 2024 @ 8:24pm
@Misery, the manual is in the original ship post
allbullfam 24 Aug, 2024 @ 10:52am
HOW THE HELL DO YOU START IT
Misery 21 Jul, 2024 @ 4:57pm
bubblehead could you add the manual to start the engine for this sub?
Misery 7 Jul, 2024 @ 1:22pm
@JV i have the same issue besides oil spills sometimes it refuses to dive
poolypop 22 Jun, 2024 @ 12:24pm
i found out how
poolypop 22 Jun, 2024 @ 12:24pm
nvm
poolypop 19 Jun, 2024 @ 12:35pm

kyrolbright 6 Jun, 2024 @ 3:49pm
it would mean the world if you could make a U-Boat 21
