Native Stylise

Description
Guide: Fog, Dust and Water Fix

Native shader port to achieve various stylised effects within the OGRE3D graphics engine of Kenshi.

The main purpose of this mod is to apply stylised effects directly within the game engine while preserving UI elements, which can be an issue with third-party systems where masking alone can prove insufficient.

This mod ports various ReShade shaders and some other effects to Kenshi's native graphics engine to achieve mostly stylised effects.

The effects are toggled ON/OFF in the game's graphics menu, depending on the desired aesthetic.

The order in which the effects are applied can be modified within workshop folder:
./materials/compositors/compositors.cfg

I could not work out whether or not sliders could be added in a mod, so if you wish to modify the effects, some high-level values are adjustable in workshop folder:
./materials/common/NativeStylise.program

amazing job, the game keep the special weird look and atmosphere and at the same time look well better with the effect you add and other edit.

It's an instant must have for me, Thanks a lot for your time and effort for making this and sharing it with us, Kudos :praisesun:

@Kraut Kontrol heres some descriptions on these effects ive gathered after some googling:

- SSAOD: screen space ambient occlusion, gives added shadows to geometry. not sure what the 'D' here means, i think it has something to do with depth.

- Kuwahara: smooths textures in a way that (in this case) can give them a painted/animated appearance.

- Outlines: Outlines all meshes.

- Posterise: sharpens the shading, creating a toon effect. (think zelda BotW)

- Colourful: Pretty sure this one just increases saturation?

- ContrastAdaptiveSharpening: Sharpens the image based on contrast, giving certain textures more detail.

- DepthBlur: adds depth-of-field blur

- FXAA_POST: postprocessing effects like saturation, sharpness, contrast.

So what do these individual shaders do? How am I supposed to know what e.g. "Kuwahara" and "Posterise" do? It's not intuitive or obvious.

This mod has to be the best damn thing that has happened to me! I have a small screen and bad eyesight and this mod actually makes it so I can see what the hell is happening on my screen!

Thanks so much for this mod. It's not the same game now. This mod reminds me of Moebius comics so that's really great ! :)

When I do the "Dust Fog and Water" fix I get a crash with the log saying
"GBuffer' already exists in CompositorManager2" PasteBin [pastebin.com]
