Jaggid's Custom Stacks

Description
This mod does one thing, it lets you choose the maximum stack size for resources (by resource category) via mod options.

There are several other "stack size mods" out there, but all of them work by using override copies of the game's individual resources, which can lead to issues after a game update, such as the recent "my survivors won't eat" problem.
This mod does not have resource override copies, so it will not cause that kind of issue.

This mod also doesn't include a "bunch of other stuff" beside stack size changes. And it lets you customize it via mod options.

Note that large, stacking resources in stockpiles do not adhere to the same stack size as what this mod changes. Construction materials stored in stockpiles will thus not match what you set in the mod options, but will when stored in other storage locations. For a mod which allows you to specifically adjust the stack entity limit to increase construction material storage in stockpiles, see Enhanced stockpiles.

This mod will not affect any resource added by mods. Other than a handful of exceptions for mods that I personally use (Blue Moss and Fish, for example). Feel free to let me know if you want me to add the resources from any specific mod and I might do so.

Please report if any (non mod) resources are not working properly. Though I did test this, I did not test it with every single resource in the game, so I may have missed a few or even just spelled some wrong.

Final note. This will (probably) work fine with other Better/Bigger Stack mods that use the override method already mentioned, superseding whatever they have stack sizes set to while still allowing you to use that "other stuff" those mods contain.

ok so perhaps just a game glitch, turning them off loading game, then turning them back on seams to have fixed things. odd glitch but least it is working.

Specifically Drones of Peace, and jaggid's improved power. Perhaps theres a way to alter the load order to fix?

Wouldn't think a stack mod would effect the other two, will try maybe turning it back on again with smaller stack sizes to see if it changes anything

this seams to not play nice with peaceful drones, as well as your electricity mod.

Disabling this and the construction mod, fixed both but with this and that 1 on the drones and your expanded electric stuff vanish from the research and crafting spots.

Which is sad because the stack size would save the time of making a storage building.

yes thanks

@Raphx, doesn't need an update. This game is no longer being actively worked on by the developers and all of my mods were tested as working properly since the last update to the game, a year ago.

If you have an issue, it's probably due to a conflict with another mod.

this is good ,update please

I hope so too, because I'm not currently actively playing Stranded so if any of my mods do break with an update, I may not bother to fix them. One or two break, I'd do it, but if it was many, I probably would not.

i hope they dont mess it up like with surviving mars
months of modding down the drain after one update
made custom skyscrapers , habitats etc

@nomed74, I actually use the spawn-all-resources command to test this mod, in order to check and verify that everything is at the stack size I expect after changing settings.

I mean, if you set stack sizes so high that spawning all resources breaks your game, that's more of a 'you' problem then a 'mod' problem.

Plus this mod does have an upper limit on all of the sliders which is quite conservative; I don't experience any problem even when the sliders are turned all the way up. As you said, you edited the mod to significantly raise that limitation. While I have it in for the very reason you mention.
