I think it would work better to pair one of these with a ship around one milion, the reason being that if you have three of these and your oponent has a 1,5mil ship I dont think these are tanky enough to stand up to a 1,5 mil PvP ship long enough for the others to get in position and do some serious damage.
PvP ships tend to do better if they have a clearly defined role. A fast gunwall will run laps around you, a railkite will just ... well kite you all day, etc
Your combination of armor and shields and choice of weaponry makes your ship, not a brawler, not a kiter, not a long range sniper. There is always a bit of rock paper scissors in PvP, but a middle of the road ship will loose a lot for simply not commiting to a strategy it can fully capitalize on.
