my game almost vanilla(no map or economy mods, some engine sound mods actually). tried your mod with another profile(full vanilla game). i can see 800k-900k even 990k mile trucks. i think its randomizer issue. im gonna keep trying.
Banking mods when they are updated for longer terms but that's about it.
To resolve conflicts("your mod isn't working/showing up") a person will have to spend time in the folders of each of the mods that they use making sure that they don't have overlapping names or files that will interfere with each other.
Have you tried not activating any map or other mods that have an economy or config file within them?
Sometimes mod developers add files without listing them in the description. That will cause conflicts with others.
So you can try placing this mod at the top of your load order above every other mod may help.
it takes a cycle for the trucks to populate into your Used Truck Dealer. 3-5 in game days or a week should be enough for the trucks to populate. If it still isn't working after an in game week or two, you may have a mod conflict. So put this one at the top of your load order.. this mod will not work with some economy mods or Map Mods that have economy mods built in.. so put it at the top. Or do what your friend did.
There are many factors or challenges in getting a mod to load correctly and the best advice i can give is to learn from what other great modders have done like harven, smarty, abastreppas, sisl and so many others.. They don't have youtube channels they just have the highest subscribed mods on steam. Unpack and poke around theirs and compare notes with what you have done. That's how i have learned over the years and fixed several dozens of mods for my private use on SCS. I think at any time up until 1.49 i had 80 mods running at a time. I really sucks when you have to break them down into blender to rename a bumper so the Intl 9600 cabover bumper stops loading on Uotlaw's pete
But then again, I started in the single moving wire grid asset days with sometimes hundreds of uniquely shaded BMP's with black windows, back when Adobe bought Photoshop.
Good luck.. just keep adding code until you have the same amount of redundancies as what smarty or harven run in their mods.
