Roman_Hastati.pack

Description
Overhaul to Hastati Soldiers. Instead of them looking like a Roman citizen with a Sword and Shield w/ possibly a random piece of armour, it gives them a full complete unit look that an acutal Roman Infantry of the Early Mid Class soldier would wield. Litterally i have no knowledge on Roman Gear, but from what ive seen in movies or shows (like i recently watched HBO's "Rome") the first episode is what i based the unit on. I did not change their shield from default Hastati because i still want them to have some sort of their uniquness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxLqx8xF9Pw#t=54 <--- What i tried to make them look like.

FYI everyone knows. But for those who want them to look cool...

Just FYI, hastati were just Roman citizens with swords, shields, and random pieces of armour. They were poor and had to buy their own gear.

You probably already know by now, but in case you don't, the reason the hastati look like citizens with a random piece of armor is because they had to buy their own equipment when they were put into the military, and the hastati were the poorest men of the legion. HBO's Rome takes place in the 1st century BC and the soldiers are meant to resemble legionaries that starting appearing after the Marian Reforms of 107 BC. Nice mod btw.
