HEROES OF LEGEND - T'AU Edition (New Heroes)

This mod adds new heroic units for the T'au.

A big thanks to Timmeh to let me use his texture from his mod and to Mindrivet as feedbacker/tester.


Compatible with Too Many Voices, you must use this patch.
Compatible with Gladius+, you must use this patch.
Compatible with EBF Super Heavy Wrecks, you must use this patch.

Available in FRENCH, ENGLISH and SIMPLIFIED CHINESE (thanks to Tutur).

Regardless of the player color used, heroes will keep their own colors. They are like mercenary only available to the T'au in the Heroes building like vanilla heroes. The T'au comes to Gladius Prime with their own color scheme, barks, heraldic and assets to spread the Greater Good !






Role : DPS/Offensive support

Research needed : Krootox Rider (Tier 3) - Specialist Pack DLC required

Skills :

• 1st Kroot Hound Pack : Anghkor Prok deploys a pack of Kroot Hounds
  
• 2nd Kroot Shaper : Anghkor Prok increases the accuracy, resistance and penetration of Kroot Hounds and Krootox.
  
• 3rd The Bloody Gorging : Anghkor Prok grants lifesteal to Kroot Hounds and Krootox.
  
• Elite Call of the Pack : Anghkor Prok grants an additional action to the Kroot Hounds and Krootox.

Traits :

• Beastmaster : Anghkor Prok can convert the Kroot Hounds to his cause.
  
• Bounty Hunter : Anghkor Prok temporarily generates influence when he eliminates a target.
  
• The Grisly Feast : Anghkor Prok regenerates faster each time he eliminates an opponent.
  
• A Trap Well Laid : Anghkor Prok deals more damage while overwatch.

Role : Ranged DPS

Research needed : Riptide Battlesuit (Tier 7)

Skills :

• 1st Nova Shield : Sacrifices hitpoints to increase damage reduction.
  
• 2nd Nova Boost : Sacrifices hitpoints to increase the movement.
  
• 3rd Nova Fire : Sacrifices hitpoints to increase the attacks.
  
• Elite Experimental Weaponry : O'Vesa gains more range, accuracy and overheating.

Traits :

• Firing Line : This unit suffers less morale damages.
  
• Deployment of Breacher : O'Vesa can deploys a breacher team to take down defensive position.
  
• Fail-safe detonator : Kais can sacrifice himself to avoid to be killed or captured. Deal damages to closed units.
  
• Back Up AI : O'Vesa gains resistance to ranged damage when broken or injured.
  
• Jump-pack : O'Vesa can jump to reach any position in range.

The Breacher team are pretty lethal in short range, bypass ranged damage reduction and can throw their grenades farther and often.


Role : Leadership/DPS

Research needed : Ta'aun Totem (Tier 3)

Skills :

• 1st Field experience : Kalice increases the accuracy of nearby Gue'vesa.
  
• 2nd In the grip of doubt : Kalice sows doubt and stuns a target, if the latter is broken it will be temporarily controlled.
  
• 3rd Trust the Ethereals : Kalice emboldens the Gue'vesa who deal more damage, take less damage, and lose less morale.
  
• Elite Conviction : Kalice becomes immune to morale and generates influence with each victim.

Traits :

• Gue'vesa Traitors : The Gue'vesa gain accuracy but take more damage against Imperium units.
  
• Deployment of Gue'vesa : Kalice can deploy any Gue'vesa team (you'll need the addon to unlock theses abilities).

Role : Ranged DPS/Anti-vehicle

Research needed : Hammerhead Gunship (Tier 5)

Skills :

• 1st Gunship Ace : Longstrike deals more damage to vehicles and takes less damage from them.
  
• 2nd Through Boldness, Victory : Longstrike increases the damage of an allied unit.
  
• 3rd Submunitions : The Railgun fires a shot very effective against infantry.
  
• Elite Ionised Shockfield : The Railgun fires a shot that weakens infantry or stuns vehicles.

Traits :

• High range calibration : Longstrike increases the attack distance of his railgun but can no longer move.
  
• Armoured Interdiction Cadre : Longstrike increases the accuracy of nearby Gunships.
  
• Pilot Battlesuit XV02 : Longstrike is unshakable.
  
• Back Up AI : The units gains resistance to ranged damage when his morale is broken or he is seriously injured.

Role : Versatile

Research needed : Xar'vesa Crisis Centre (Tier 5)

Kai'to'aen is armed with a Fusion Collider, a Twin-linked Fusion Blaster or a Twin-linked Heavy flamethrower.

Skills :

• 1st Exemplar of the Kauyon : Kai'to'aen allows allied units to move after attacking.
  
• 2nd Strike and Fade : Kai'to'aen temporarily gains damage resistance when eliminating a target.
  
• 3rd Internal Grenade Racks : The battlesuit propels several photon grenades over a great distance.
  
• Elite Walls of Mirrors : Kai'to'aen temporarily becomes almost invulnerable and no longer triggers enemy overwatch.

Traits :

• Firing Line : This unit suffers less morale damages.
  
• E-H disruption suite : Kai'to'aen reduces the accuracy of enemy overwatch.
  
• Fail-safe detonator : Kais can sacrifice himself to avoid to be killed or captured. Deal damages to closed units.
  
• Back Up AI : Kai'to'aen gains resistance to ranged damage when broken or injured.
  
• Jump-pack : Kai'to'aen can jump to reach any position in range.
  
• Barracuda reinforcement ! : Kai'to'aen requests the deployment of a Barracuda Fighter for an aerial assault. (Escalation Pack DLC required with the Tiger Shark research)
  
• Early Warning Override : Kai'to'aen gains accuracy while overwatching and demoralizes enemies.
  
• Coordinated Engagement : Kai'to'aen marks ground targets when attacking to increase the accuracy of Barracuda Fighters.
