The Defender of the Yamato on its Journey to Iscandar...


In the Original Story, only the Space Battleship Yamato was built to be the hope for Humanity in its Darkest Hour, in another Story, a Battlecarrier was Built along side the Yamato to be its protector and be know by foes as the Phantom Comet, this being the Space Battlecarrier Enterprise... but in this Story... another Battleship was built along side the Yamato... built to be Bigger, Faster, Tougher, and a Survivor... this is, The Space Battleship Iowa!

Like the Story with the Enterprise, The Iowa, Code Named: Project Eagle, was built along side the Yamato Project, both being sent the Wave Motion Plans from Queen Starsha's Sister, Yurisha to power them, and both being originally Evacuation ships turned into Pure Battleships sent on a suicidal Mission against the Garmilon Empire to save there Home Planet.

In comparison to the Yamato, the Iowa was Bigger, Tougher, surprisingly Faster for its size, and had a slight Firepower Advantage compared to the Yamato, having 3 Main Shock Cannons and 4 Secondary Shock Cannons (two port side and two Starboard Side) 8 Forward Torpedoes, 6 Aft Torpedoes, 14 Dorsal Torpedoes, 12 Ventral Torpedoes, 40 Side Torpedoes (20 Port and 20 Starboard), not to mention its own Wave Motion Gun and 43 Pulse Turrets,, Built similarly to the Yamato's, it has a Much Bigger Main Thruster, and three Secondary Thruster's.

in terms of Fighter Compliment (which launch in a similar way to the Yamato's via underbelly launch bay near the main thruster), it does have an extra set of each Auxiliary Craft like Seagull, Recon Fighter and such, and having a Version of the Cosmo Series Fighters being the Cosmo Eagles, it does also come with a few Experimental Fighters, which are the Cosmo Mustangs (A.N: i sadly can't make small crafts DX) a Fighter that's American's original design while using parts from the Cosmo Zero's.

The more Impressive and main Feature of the Space Battleship Iowa was its surprising speed and Manoeuvrability, while fairly close to the Yamato, the fact this Bulkier and Bigger ship is as agile as the Yamato was an impressive feat in of its own and what made it gain its Title of Fastest Battleship in the Galaxy.


(Side Notes: sadly, aside from the two bridges, Main and Secondary and the little Captain's Ready Room up top, this is a Shell, nothing else is inside, aside from two Wave Motion Reactor's (my Head Canon being its technically 1 big reactor compared to the Yamato's but i wouldn't put it past America in the Future to figure out a way to keep a Strong Supply of nearly Infinite Energy) a Few Gyro's, some Trek Thruster's from Trek Mod and Gravity Generators, which BTW are in the perfect spots for Gravity all over the ship, so please if you do want to make an Interior, try to keep the Gravity Generator's in the same spot with the same settings... other then that... lets see the plans for an Interior build.
