Description
The ES Paris is the first of EuroSpace's dreadnought sized ship designs. It is meant to be able to confront most opponents of similar size head on and emerge victorious, while still being able to employ a variety of other combat tactics. To that end it features a massively armored nose, a strong shield neck, 3 Flak Cannons, enough forward thrust to orbit slow opponents and 2 Tractor Beams to catch fast ones. Complementing these formidable defensive measures, the Paris' main armaments consist of a quad outlet 16-Ion Chamber, two 24-magazine Chainguns and 6 Nuke-Launchers. Steel "bumper" struts prevent rammers or debris from getting caught on the wings.
The EC-version of the ES Paris additionally features the ability to detach its heavy armor nose, which it can then fling away with its tractor beams, for a significant speed boost while chasing otherwise uncatchable targets.

Speed: ~80m/s (~91m/s with detached nose)
Crew: 488
Cost: ~€3.227.400,-

If the official AI tournament was already over, I'd be able to recommend the ship that I sent in and will be posting afterwards. But that tournament will only be up next week, so be on the lookout for that, if you're interested in AI focused ships.

Hey. Honestly, hard to say - depends on if they're gonna focus on kiting or brawling and if they're piloted by people or by AI. Also, when I do AI battles, I usually balance the teams in terms of total budget, not necessarily in terms of ship slots. If it's gonna be an AI battle, I'd say one Paris, Kyivs and Ion Bats are probably gonna do well. If it's people, I'd say just the Paris and the rest Lisboa Mk IIIs, since those can defeat almost any ships that are slower than them via proper piloting.

so ill be honest, i subbed to most your ES ships and put them up against mine (alt history/space fiction stuff going on) because i need a proper enemy for them. i love all your designs to pin them up against. but id like to ask for help making a formation using your ships. you have 19 ship slots in the formation to use, with one rule being you can only have one battleship/dreadnought. what ships would you use? also no worry about supplies its for battle scenario. thank you! love your content

I honestly always love seeing Prisms allowed to breath with wide arcs. Makes them seem so much more practical and almost like anti-fighter weapons than just another death star.

Nice Idea attach the Nose with Charges to catch fast Railgun Opponents Dude

And when you detach, don't forget to turn slightly to the side and tell your tractor beams to target the nose and set them to push. That makes it much easier to get rid of it quickly.

You detach the nose via explosive charges. So yeah, you gotta salvage it after the fight. But that shouldn't matter. Once transforming ship parts are in the game, we might be able to use different methods of detachment.

Can you reattach the nose or do you have to salvage and then repair?

Thx, I try.
