Uniform Injury Effect (UIE) V2

Description

Rating this item is hugely appreciated!

Black Uniforms
If you are experiencing black uniforms, then your memory limit is being reached. To fix this, increase your page file limit in windows (easy google).

V2
This mod is the second version of UIE. The first version had many issues that required large parts of the mod to be rewritten. So after 5 months of re-writing, testing, and performance benchmarking, version 2 of the mod is ready. On the surface, everything is the same, the underlying system that powers this mod is what has been changed.

Uniform Injury Effect (UIE)
UIE is a addon designed to fix an issue amongst modded uniforms. A large percent of modded uniforms are lacking any kind of blood effect when the unit is injured, this mod fixes that. It adds 2 new blood textures, one displaying a light amount of blood and the other a heavier amount, depending on how injured the unit is. This effect is added to ANY non vanilla uniform, and is applied to both ai and players. Blood effect will disappear when unit is fully healed.

Settings
This mod adds 2 CBA options, found under Uniform Injury Effect, the first lets you determine the texture resolution of uniforms. This option will limit all uniform textures to the maximum texture resolution you set. I recommend not going above 1024 or 2048, anything higher than this will cause performance impacts. The second option toggles whether the system is active for ONLY players.

Notes
Must be loaded on all clients and server.
Uniforms must have hidden selections to be compatible with this mod.
*Using RR JSOC Uniforms in media.

Sevka Slav, setting my paging file double the size of my RAM helped me to solve the issue of unuforms turning black when lots of units were present on the battlefield. I have 32 gb's of RAM so I set my paging file to 64 gb's. After this black uniforms were no more.

No, I doubt that, even with UIE loaded I get occasionally black uniforms on somebody, not for everyone though

@Sevka Slav Unfortunately I don't have any other suggestions at this time. Perhaps there is a conflict with other mods you're running.

I do and still after save load I get black uniforms

@Sevka Slav If you're talking about what you should set your paging file size too, then I would generally recommend the same size as your ram, so 16gb. Make sure you are using the 1024 setting as well within this mod. And use a memory allocator in the launcher

to what I should set it to? I got 16GB DDR4 2133MHZ

@Sevka Slav It depends on how many units you're trying to render at once. I suggest using a memory allocator in your launcher if you arent already.
