Sevka Slav, setting my paging file double the size of my RAM helped me to solve the issue of unuforms turning black when lots of units were present on the battlefield. I have 32 gb's of RAM so I set my paging file to 64 gb's. After this black uniforms were no more.

No, I doubt that, even with UIE loaded I get occasionally black uniforms on somebody, not for everyone though

@Sevka Slav Unfortunately I don't have any other suggestions at this time. Perhaps there is a conflict with other mods you're running.

@Sevka Slav If you're talking about what you should set your paging file size too, then I would generally recommend the same size as your ram, so 16gb. Make sure you are using the 1024 setting as well within this mod. And use a memory allocator in the launcher

@Sevka Slav It depends on how many units you're trying to render at once. I suggest using a memory allocator in your launcher if you arent already.

This mod is amazing! I've noticed that it was gone for quite some time, but now it is back! If you are curious about the things you can achive with this mod... It's power allows most of the uniforms in UNSUNG have blood textures which greatly improves gameplay experience! Big thanks for this creating this!

@J3FF hi and happy new year! I would like to add that I have only encountered a black uniform once. So, in my gameplay it happens spontaneously and rarely (!only one unit). Only at CSAT Overhaul mod uniform. You might not have noticed this because my problem did not arise immediately, but only after a thick battle and only after 40 minutes of gameplay in my mission

I've tested this mod with The CSAT Overhaul, S&S, RR JSOC Uniforms, and VSM Uniforms, plus some other misc ones. All of which work correctly and have zero black uniforms.

Some questions I have for the people who its not working for:
-Did you try it with only the required mods and no additional ones?
-Were you in SP or MP/Dedicated server?
-Did the issue happen after the unit was injured or at the start?
-Does it happen consistently when replaying the mission or does it appear to be random?
-Anything else you think is useful.

@J3FF but 99% of the CSAT Overhauled mod units will not be black. Therefore, the problem has a low probability, but it's still there

Something to keep in mind is this mod doesnt affect uniforms that are vanilla to arma, which I believe most of both NATO and CSAT uniforms are.

In fact, this situation occurs in Vanilla NATO uniforms and CSAT Pacific uniforms. Although I used a China Retexture [pure] module to modify the CSAT Pacific uniform, I don't think this is the reason for this situation. This is probably due to conflicts with other modules, such as PIR, etc.

Although I really like this MOD, I have to ask a question. When I use some MOD clothing textures, the bleeding limbs of the character when injured will directly turn black, which should be caused by texture errors. Please repair it!:steamsad:

I think it makes sense to add even 4, 5, 6 levels, since each of their levels could demonstrate the degree of injury and the degree of blood loss, if the corresponding mod is enabled.

of course I can join, but I do not know what else new I can add. I said that the mod works for me only for dead units (!with some mods only) For example, everything is fine with RHS units, they have blood on both wounded and dead units.

You don't specify exactly when they appear. At the time of injury or at the time of death? Or always? As I described to you below, they also appear to me, but only during the death of the characters. The injuries will not be marked in any way.

@_mickey_ Could you join the discord in the description and ping me there? I can't get the issue to replicate. Blood effects appear fine when the unit is shot using YeEmod AND the Vsm Uniforms. Also remember if a uniform doesnt use hiddenSelections, then this mod wont apply at all to it.
Adding a third level of damage is possible, although in my eyes not necessary as quantities of blood showing on different uniforms is vastly varied based on textures. In regards to keeping the blood after healed, for now it wont be added as thats a new feature and this mods goal is to fix a bug. If there is enough interest then that can possibly change in the future. Thankyou for your feedback!

@J3FFI I checked, unfortunately your mod doesn't work correctly for YuEmod also. YuEmod here - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1195262135 It turns out the same as on VSM Uniform mod -blood appears only on dead units, but not when they are injured

@J3FFI have two questions -
"light amount of blood and the other a heavier amount, depending on how injured the unit is"

1) Do you have a way to add a third level of damage? A little bit of blood, more blood, a lot of blood?

2) Is it possible to make sure that once wounded, after treatment, he could not lose all the blood on his uniform? In A3, after treatment, the all blood will instantly disappear in half of second and it looks stupid.

@J3FF Hello and welcome back! The first tests showed me that your mod still does not work properly with VSM Uniform. Blood appears only on dead units, wounded units still have no blood.

Tested and working on my end. Thanks a ton for the fix, really love this. One of my biggest pet peeves with A3 has always been the pristine uniforms on dead guys I just filled with an entire belt of 7.62 NATO and this fixes it 100%. Essential mod unless you're running the most vanilla of modsets.

@Gman Thankyou for your feedback! Yes it does look like thats an issue, and is a very simple fix. I will push an update in the next few days fixing it!

@Sam I don't think i'll add a delay since the vanilla system doesnt use one and this mod is designed to fix an issue, not add a new feature or overhaul it.

Hey there, been hoping to get this mod working been able to. I do believe I've figured out the issue though. I run ACE with the newish nomedical pbo and it seems that combo causes this to no longer work. Tested with ace medical running and no ace at all and it worked just fine. The only setup that broke this was the one using the no medical pbo. Love the mod's concept, wish I could get it working without having to run Ace medical, cause it sucks.
