Pyro

The Pyro from Team Fortress 2 has come to battle in Smack Studio. Pyro is a very pressure based character who uses fire to cook his opposition. In addition to his Flamethrower, he also has some other tools up his sleeve, namely the Flare Gun and the Axtinguisher.

SPECIALS

NEUTRAL SPECIAL - FLAMETHROWER
Pyro uses the Flamethrower to spew fire far out in front of him. Has great range and the damage is amazing, but it can blindspot if you're too close! Applies afterburn.

SIDE SPECIAL - FLARE GUN
Pyro fires a flare from the Flare Gun. The flare explodes on contact, applying afterburn. Also crits when the opponent is on fire. Has a cooldown before you can fire again.

UP SPECIAL - FLARE JUMP
Pyro fires the Flare Gun at his own feet, propelling him upwards. This move deals 5 damage to Pyro. Comes out quick with a spike!

DOWN SPECIAL - AIRBLAST
Pyro uses the Flamethrower's compression blast to either knock opponents away with set knockback or reflect projectiles! Timing is key with this move.

ULTRA - ARMAGEDDON
Pyro blows flames in a circle around him, and then explodes with a quaquaversal burst of fire!

PASSIVE - AFTERBURN
Afterburn is applied by most moves that use fire. It does 8 damage over 4 seconds, but during this time, you may hit your opponent with moves that use the Axtinguisher to get critical damage (much higher damage and knockback). Afterburn is slightly janky because of the limitations of the game, so it won't work perfectly. Pyro also does not work very well in free for all or doubles, as afterburn will cause crits no matter what player is being hit, but he is fully playable in those modes still.
