Description
*Requires The Conquest of Elysium 5 Total Overhaul! mod*
Summary
The Elysium Content Pack. Includes over a hundred new monsters, rituals, recruit-able units, terrains, terrain tweaks, bug fixes, and many many more.

Major Updates to the Witch class. Including new Lore, units, rituals, buildings, and spell updates.

Major Updates to the Necromancer class, including greater emphasis on cultivating Hades for an early game advantage. Spell updates, new units, rituals, and more.

Game bug fixes include changing Ice to an inanimate object so that it can no longer be turned into sheep (vanilla bug). And Necromancer class once again being able to recruit units in Hades and other planes (fixed from "The Conquest of Elysium 5 Total Overhaul" Mod)

Dozens of Quality of Life fixes and secrets to uncover as you Explore and Conquer Elysium.

Feature List
Witch
  • Allows Apprentices to recruit the new unit and swamp native, "Androphage". These Androphages can be trained into more complex units like Androphage Calvary.
  • Over 50 new Rituals and Units
  • Ability to form a Covenant with the Frost Queen to gain new powers and followers
  • Various improvements to existing units and to existing terrains including swamps.
Necromancer
  • New Necromancer early, mid and late game units and Rituals.
  • Many existing Unit tweaks, for example, trained Soulless no longer clumsy, and undead now able to heal on dark and infernal citadels.
  • Added many new recruitment options for the Necromancer class that are unlocked as the Necromancer evolves.
  • Various improvements to existing units and to existing terrains including Gallows, Graveyards, and much more.
Generic
  • Created new Earth Shaper unit that specializes in terrain manipulation, for example, graveyards, swamps, or mountains into usable plains, or creating hills or mountains. They can even create a passage between rivers. These are very powerful rituals on a very weak unit. So keep the Earth Shaper protected. Able to be recruited by all classes based off lore.
  • Many new Quality of Life fixes including the removal of plane locking for all vanilla classes.
  • Introducing another reason to explore. Taking over unique Citadels across the world may now open up new recruitment options. Check out the Nexus! Explore and Conquer!
  • Some improvements to existing terrains.

Why I chose to make this mod
I fell in love with Conquest of Elysium. As a die hard 4x gamer, and a fan of the original sega genesis game, Master of Monsters, I felt right at home when I picked this game up. Even more so when I discovered the "The Conquest of Elysium 5 Total Overhaul" Mod created by "Commisar". I always felt like there was just a bit missing when I would play though, so I learned how to mod the game so I could add what I believed was missing in the main game and the modded Overhaul.

For example, I felt like the Necromancer hero chain shouldn't end at a Demi-Lich, but that it was just a branch of the final stage of Necromancy that a Lich can aspire to. So I created another branch that a Lich can use to ascend. Now Liches can become a powerful Archlich. But that's not the end. An Archlich can also leave behind their mortality and ascend into divinity becoming an *spoiler*

I've made similar additions to the Witch class. I hope you enjoy this mod as much as I did making it =)

Pro Tip:
If playing Online, make sure to slay your Necromancer friends, not just in Elysium but also in Hades! For they can and are encouraged to set up their main base of operations on that realm. Witches can also settle in the Land of Frost (elemental plane of water), so watch out!

I plan to continuously add updates to this mod. Including balance tweaks. Look forward to it =)

To Use this mod:

1. Subscribe and smash the Like button
2. In the game main menu screen, navigate to the Mods icon.
3. Within the Mods screen, enable this mod.



*FAQ*
1. Why is the majority focus of this mod the Witch and Necromancer classes?
---- The focus of this mod is to add content and increase the fun and engagement of this great game. I felt like the Witch and Necromancer classes could use some more content and late game units and so I added them.

2. Will you be adding more content in the future and if so, will you add them to other classes?
----Yes I plan on adding more content in the future to this mod. I can't promise which class the new content will be for though. I would just say that there are already a great number of mods for the other classes but I felt like the Necromancer and Witch classes in general needed some more content. Long story short, it's because I love playing those 2 classes.

3. Is this save game compatible?
---Short answer is No. Long answer is that when I make an update to the mod, it might mess up your saves so I would recommend starting a new game with every major update. Smaller updates may be fine but no guarantees.

3. Are there any mod requirements?
---Yes, this mod requires "The Conquest of Elysium 5 Total Overhaul" Mod

Thanks, I am liking it so far even if i do wish there was also a bit of diplomatic options. I do like the necromancer, Warlock and the secret archmage, but I'm also a sucker for mages in general. Still need to play a full game with demonilogist and high cultist though.

Right, sorry. I was just reading the generic and it had me questioning if things like and if things like earth shaper can be modded in, why wasn't the first set thought to give the elemental faction thag very power. I'm honestly still new to this game and community, found it about two weeks ago.

Not sure, it makes sense that a earth elemental warlock would have such abilities or water elemental have water terraforming abilities as well.

Remember this mod, other than generic changes, only touches witches and necromancer classes currently. Everything else is carried over from "The Conquest of Elysium 5 Total Overhaul" Mod

While I like the idea of Earth Shaper units my question is why isn't this an ability Water and Earth Warlocks have? Shouldn't terrain manipulation be something that they themselves can naturally do or even just greater warlocks do to already being elementalist Or is there a fear it would age their class op?
