Thanks, I am liking it so far even if i do wish there was also a bit of diplomatic options. I do like the necromancer, Warlock and the secret archmage, but I'm also a sucker for mages in general. Still need to play a full game with demonilogist and high cultist though.

Right, sorry. I was just reading the generic and it had me questioning if things like and if things like earth shaper can be modded in, why wasn't the first set thought to give the elemental faction thag very power. I'm honestly still new to this game and community, found it about two weeks ago.

Not sure, it makes sense that a earth elemental warlock would have such abilities or water elemental have water terraforming abilities as well.

Remember this mod, other than generic changes, only touches witches and necromancer classes currently. Everything else is carried over from "The Conquest of Elysium 5 Total Overhaul" Mod

While I like the idea of Earth Shaper units my question is why isn't this an ability Water and Earth Warlocks have? Shouldn't terrain manipulation be something that they themselves can naturally do or even just greater warlocks do to already being elementalist Or is there a fear it would age their class op?

Thanks for the suggestion. This mod doesn't touch enchanter. That comes from the "Conquest of Elysium 5 Total Overhaul" Mod
I have played Enchanter before though and their army is pretty spammy lol but once you get to mid game you start to be able to deal with them

Just a balance suggestion. For the Enchanter Workshop Task: Terracotta Army is pretty spamable, perhaps adding a monetary or iron cost to it or increasing the action cost to 21 would be a good way to balance that out.

Is this in comparison to the vanilla or the Overhaul mod? I tried to keep things balanced compared to the overhaul not the vanilla game.

I've already increased the cost of the frost rituals but I might take another look at it in the future

If you want to change the values yourself you'll have to go into the mod folder and have those values changed. I would recommend creating a new folder though or copying that folder somewhere else so you can paste the original whenever an update is made (the update will overwrite anything you customize)

Hey, I like the mod but the Witch changes made the class 10/10 massively overtuned. Cool stuff, but the fungus costs need to be at least 2x on all the frost rituals especially considering the introduced changes to fungus and how easily you can create swamps. The units are way too strong and cheap to summon. Is there an easy way I could change those values myself?

okay so when you summon him using the
"Call Lord of the Underworld" ritual, you're saying he's summoned and isn't able to learn any new rituals?

Like for example, mastery lvl 1 or 2 isn't working? I thought I'll take another look

I tried a few different times and yeah Orcus, The prince of death, isnt able to learn new rituals in general, at least when summoned by the necromancer

sorry, I was sleeping when you asked, I think it was the prince of darkness, the demon lord that is positioned in hades instead of inferno. I dont think it is a mod conflict unless the quiet summon mod can actually do that. I will try it again in a new save and if it continues I will see if thats it

I tested with the Prince of Darkness, Abbadon, and Belphegor (Demon Lord), they seem to be working as intended when summoned with the rituals. And they have no issues learning new ones

(you can't learn new t4 rituals, to avoid a bug in the way mods are created for COE5, I made all t4 rituals 'free' meaning you don't have to research them before you can use)

Just pushed up an update. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there's a way to specifically make the AI less likely to use the earthshaper, but I decreased the recruitment chance and increased the cost so that it's more costly to recruit them. That should mitigate the problem you guys saw

@Keansor Yeah me and my friend have really noticed this as well as soon as you get to around the midgame the ai teams are flooded with earthshapers

The AI seems to love buying Earth Shapers to use as commanders whenever they can, which is costing them a lot of money. Do they actually use its features, or is this just an unfortunate side-effect?

Introducing another reason to explore and Conquer the Nexus. Anyone who owns the Nexus will have a 1% chance to recruit a main commander from another class for 1000 gold.

This mod should be compatible with most of the other COE5 mods out there.
I made it a concentrated effort to build on top of Commisar's work and so they are no compatibility issues with that mod at all (in fact I made sure this mod loads after his in the code)

Personally, I use a few other mods whenever I play.
Here are a few I would recommend along with this one:

1. Support Units
2. LootMiscellany
3. Basic Treasury
4. Heir of Elysium
5. Starting Defence Only
6. Dynamic Elysium - Events Only
7. Quick Start

Regarding the QOL updates, one reason that COE5 was so much fun to me was discovering what new units and mechanisms existed as I played the game and explored the world. So to answer your question about the QoL updates, play and find out =)

No the archlich transformation can only be canst once by a lich to turn into an archlich.

If you want more rituals, you need to cast the 'Ritual Mastery' ritual. Should be near the top of the rituals screen

Unfortunately the game doesn't let you hide rituals for certain characters. If the ritual is a t4 necromancy ritual, any t4 necromancer can see it.

However I believe I've put limiters in place so that the archlich cannot cast that spell. Only the next level above that monster can even attempt it

Let me know if the archlich can cast it. If that's the case, then that's a bug that would have to be fixed

my archlich has the call abbadon ritual, which is supposed to only be for the prince of death, not for archliches?

Gonna make the obvious joke: Why not find the daughter of a witch of the wilds and accidentally sire a future Archdemon
(maybe if they make romances a possibility in Elysium 6 that'll be something to mod in... consequences to supernatural coitus)
