Bounty Boards

Description
Bounty Boards is a mod for Noita about interacting with bounty boards to receive various bounties that reward the player once completed.

What the hell is this mod?

When you activate the mod, once the player is spawned, bounty boards will randomly spawn across the game world. These bounty boards can be interacted with in order to obtain a bounty. Each bounty requires the player to perform a certain action in order to complete it, and if all requirements are met, a reward is dispensed immediately after it is completed.

Some bounties progress based on a number of actions performed, others require the player to endure for a certain time limit while a temporary debuff is applied, and others impose a time limit for the required actions to be performed. Some bounties can also fail if they have a fail condition and it is met.

Bounties are randomized, can be based on many different archetypes, can dispense different rewards and also have levels, with each level raising the difficulty of the bounty but also multiplying its rewards.

Currently acquired bounties can be tracked using the UI controls included, and any of them can be cancelled by the player, at any time.

To regulate how often bounty boards spawn in the world, or how do you want to claim the rewards of bounties you complete, use the provided setting available in Mod Settings menu.

16/03/2024 - 4.0 - UI Rework Update
New Content
- UI has been entirely reworked. Now bounties will be visible through a draggable window that will show the progress of all active bounties at once. Bounty updates will be shown in a special info feed that appears right below wands inventory.
- New bounty archetypes added.
Improvements
- Bounties related to collecting potion flasks, powders stashes, wands and throwable items had their base objectives reduced to 1, making them less tedious to complete.
- Rewards related to items the player must pickup could be spawned in a way they became inaccessible, this has been changed so that these rewards will always spawn above the player.
- Bounties that include chest rewards had the chance of rewarding the player with super chests severely reduced, and regular chests will be more common.
Bug Fixes
- There was an issue with bounties related to spot enemies or be under the Teleportation effect. It has been fixed and both will progress normally now.
- There was an issue with the put orb on shrine bounty archetypes where having two of the same type while having the setting to not dispense rewards immediately once bounty completed turned on would result in only the first one being completed. It has been fixed, now each of them can be completed normally with their rewards obtainable normally.

Pretty sure there are ways to program a perk to spawn certain distance away.

sure thing! if you do decide to get back into it i think the solution (if possible) would probably be to make the perks spit out in a spread kind of fashion (if they have physics >.>)

Ahhhh...you mean the rewards, sorry, I thought you meant the boards themselves. Well, I don't know whether or not I'll be able to get back into this project, but if I do, I'll see if something can be done about that.

thats... not true? if the reward is (3 perks) and you extract the reward (regardless if its automatically dispensed or dispensed when you click the trophy) all 3 perks will be mashed over eacother :u

@PatchesIX if you reduce the spawn frequency of the boards, that situation you describe will be a lot less frequent.

i really wish the perks would spawn separated from each other so i don't accidentally take one i don't want.

Can we have a setting to enable or not all type of missions ? Like the one when we need to be affected by a certain type of potion is pretty annoying, I always need to remove it and it's just taking time for nothing

There is a bug with the "Walk 'distance' on ground" which makes it not register walking at all.

theres a bug where you can 'fail' a bounty even after completing it. Nornally its not too big of a deal, but the 'take damage = death' bounty is still active, even after completing it. This means that you can still die even after the bounty is gone. I would highly suggest fixing this, as it can be pretty annoying to die with an effect that shouldnt be on you at that moment.
