Pretty sure there are ways to program a perk to spawn certain distance away.

sure thing! if you do decide to get back into it i think the solution (if possible) would probably be to make the perks spit out in a spread kind of fashion (if they have physics >.>)

Ahhhh...you mean the rewards, sorry, I thought you meant the boards themselves. Well, I don't know whether or not I'll be able to get back into this project, but if I do, I'll see if something can be done about that.

thats... not true? if the reward is (3 perks) and you extract the reward (regardless if its automatically dispensed or dispensed when you click the trophy) all 3 perks will be mashed over eacother :u

@PatchesIX if you reduce the spawn frequency of the boards, that situation you describe will be a lot less frequent.

Can we have a setting to enable or not all type of missions ? Like the one when we need to be affected by a certain type of potion is pretty annoying, I always need to remove it and it's just taking time for nothing

There is a bug with the "Walk 'distance' on ground" which makes it not register walking at all.

theres a bug where you can 'fail' a bounty even after completing it. Nornally its not too big of a deal, but the 'take damage = death' bounty is still active, even after completing it. This means that you can still die even after the bounty is gone. I would highly suggest fixing this, as it can be pretty annoying to die with an effect that shouldnt be on you at that moment.

A few more suggestions to let users configure the balance:
1. setting to toggle off gold rewards (useless after a few biomes)
2. setting to link multi-perk rewards like holy mountains (so it gives you 3 but you can only take 1, affected by perk lottery, etc.)
3. setting to link multi-wand rewards like The Tower reward wands (so it gives you 3 but you can only take 1)
4. setting to cap how many active bounties you can have at once (i had like 80 active with default settings, very broken and was causing some performance issues).

Good mod, adds a lot of variety to runs!

Would it be possible to get a keyboard shortcut to toggle the bounty board menu? Having to find the open/close buttons with the mouse can be difficult during stressful situations.

This mod is great....if it wasnt for the absolute run-ending bug. If you complete any of the black skull bounties(the ones that kill you if you take any damage), there is a really good chance that while the bounty rewards you for completing it, the insta-death effect is still there. So as a warning: turn off the black skull bounties to avoid this.

Bring back the drop down menu, it ain’t fun not knowing what to do, or having it break, effectively becoming a run death sentence when it’s slowly draining your health.

for some of the things, 200 and 300 is enough.

I just had to sit still for 100 seconds not using my jet ability... watching enemies make their way to me... panicking.

then there was one that said only 15 seconds in 200 second period. I tried conserving it but then ran into enemies and failed trying to nope away.

the times feel right.

However, I AM seeing that some of these quests are duplicating. which can be a REAL problem with black skull quests.

I think the only real issue is the really high lengths of time you have to do stuff for. 300 seconds seems excessive.

"Don't cast spells for 300 seconds."

I... guess I'm being rewarded for not playing the game. Cool.

Am I missing something? Some of these bounties are mildly creative and actually make the game more fun, but then I get garbage like these.

I really love the idea of this mod however the variety of bounties/conditions are lacking or just generally feels lazily copy pasted regardless of if it is or not. Idk this kinda thing is probably hard work. If I could edit them myself I would. 300 seconds seem boringly long time to just sit still if you really really REALLY wanted the payout. Conversely spotting invisible enemies seems like a catch 22? Anyway thanks for making the mod, it would be really cool to see more variety in both win loss conditions as well as timers. Being able to blacklist specific bounties or bounty types would greatly increase the fun we could have. It was kinda refreshing at first to excitedly find a new challenge. The bounties for damage causing your wand to slip from your hands and enemy duplication was really silly the first time I came across them, there's a lot of funny stuff to do with those unique bounties.

after using it more, i had multiple cases where a bounty either completed or failed and was gone from the tracker but was still popping up on the top left recording my progress in them, which seems relevant to the other issue

BUG: i had a "death bound bounty" for spells shoot backwards for 100 secs. after i completed the bounty (and i had no other bounties) i instantly died when taking damage.

Just wondering, when I was using this mod it appears to make all potions Lava and no others will spawn. Is this a known problem. I've seen some others have this happen but not with this mod but ive tried each combination and when this mod is active it happens

Hi, there is a slight incompatibility.

When use this mod with the 'random starting item 'mod by piratesee, the empty potion option doesn't work correctly.

I have already reported the issue on their page, but they have not responded yet, so I'm posting it here too.

In case somebody else has the same problem, I hope you don't mind.

also, when starting tasks like "avoid dealing damage" or "keep moving", it would be cool (but harder to balance i guess) to spawn enemies around the player every X seconds to make it harder and not just "stand in a corner for 200 seconds"

hi the mod is super cool :) i think the base spawn rate should be a bit lower (i konw you can lower it in settings but the default one is super excessive in my opinion lol). also, it's sometimes a bit frustrating to pile up bounties like "find 15 enemies under X effect", i guess making these a bit rarer could help ?

Can we please get the "don't fly/levitate for 300s (15s tolerance)" be a rotating tolerance akin to some of the other bounties, where if you stop for some amount of time, the counter resets?
As it is, these bounties are basically an auto ignore, or go make a sandwich since you can't get through a level, much less deal with foes with only 15s of total levitation done.

"Walk on Solid Ground" bounty never works. I have tried numerous types of material to walk on and nothing seems to make it count up.

Also, you were fielding suggestions for balancing? maybe the bounties could use a simkilar tier system the game uses to generate wands/spells? maybe rewards can pull from those lists, based on biome, and the higher level bounties and death bounties, stuff with really strong rewards, could appear in later biomes? Getting a free 300 max hp at the beginning of the game IS a bit much. I need all the help I can get, but I'd like my first win to be somewhat honest lol!

Hi, loving the mod so far! I'd like to think its helping me to get better at the game, especially with the "No Hit" bounties! It really encourages practicing dodging!

Anyways, I've noticed bounties will announce as failed after I've completed them, like take no damage for better rewards quest will call when i get hit, after I've collected.

As for a quality request, is it possible to set a keybind for showing bounties? I keep wanting to press tab to close my bounty list.

OH, and the "Walk on solid ground" bounty is bugged. I tried to even go to the surface to see if i needed to walk on soil, and the timer didn't proc. Also, maybe a "Walk on a certain material" bounty? Kinda like the Drink X, it would be like a scavenger hunt, and when you are stood on the material, bounty complete!

is there any incompatible mod? Some bounties stop tracking at some point (the timed ones). Haven't found any pattern in it, doesn't matter how many bounties I have active, can happen with just one.
I would decrease the font of the bounty pickup, it's really huge and increases the time it takes to get what bounty you just got.

When I complete a skull bounty and collect the reward, the next time i get hit I still die even though i finished the bounty and I have no other bounties.

@Sluxslol, there are currently 112 archetypes for bounties. You have the option to cancel any bounty obtained if you don't find it fun.

Having trouble when loading a save, bounties aren't showing up properly. Shows I have 29 bounties active, but the board is entirely blank

@Mr.Wanaskiwin "Navarone", fail on damage bounties had a few issues, but this time I changed a few things, and it seems to be more stable. After modifying it I was unable to reproduce the issue you reported about the collect crystals bounty, so it appears it's all fixed.

Fixes, as well as the UI revamp you asked for, will be available in the next update I'll be pushing soon, this week probably.

I've noted some bugs. Not sure whats causing it but at some point during long runs damage it will tell you you've failed any damage bounty you've failed by taking damage any time you take damage for... most of the rest of the run it seems.

Also, I think this is caused by damage bounties as well, but things like crystal acquire missions can glitch out if you take damage and there-fore fail causing enemies to drop crystals for a while.

Additionally, a lot of damage and death bounties seem to suggest a bonus reward for not taking damage, but often don't have thresholds and are immediately failed if you take damage.
