Description
2015, February 16th: bCombat UPDATED to v0.18 FINAL. See CHANGELOG.

bCombat is an all-in-one Single Player infantry AI mod.
It aims to achieve both a more aware and human-alike infantry AI. It features an unique ecosystem, including an event-driven AI morale / skill system as well as many optional AI enhancements.
Everything is pre-configured and ready to go, while it can be tweaked at will via configuration file (see "MORE INFO" below).



HIGHLIGHTS
  • Morale system driving dynamically AI behavour and skills.
  • Reduced (excessive) AI firing accuracy.
  • AI behaviour is affected by many environmental events (spotted enemies, explosions, bullets whizzling by, ricochets, wounds, casualties, ...).
  • AI units proactively lay suppressive fire and suffer sensible morale / skill penalty when suppressed.
  • Increased AI survivability: better use of cover, movement and suppressive fire lead to longer firefights.
  • More Tactical options: firing from higher ground, flank or back causes bigger morale hit to enemy
  • AI units use smoke grenades
  • AI units use handgrenades more efficiently
  • AI units hear nearby gunfire / explosions
  • AI machinegunners lay suppressive fire in order to cover group movement
  • AI groups move more cautiously in urban environment (e.g. less individual engaging)
  • Player led AI units require far less micro-management on the battlefield.

how to completely disable the damage system that bcombat affects? Because I have my own mods for the damage system that would make sense to save and heal AI

I actually tested it and yes you can use VCOM AI with bcombat it is actually really good its way better than having them individually but i only tested it with 5 scenarios im gonna try to add LAMBS danger to it next and see if it will too

How do you edit the config.sqf and then use those settings in the mod? When I try to repackage into a pbo and load in game I get a missing script error... I am trying to remove the setting that adds grenades to every loadout as it is incredibly annoying.

No iterations of PiR have proper hit detection, either, and the gutted version of PiR for ACE isn't much of a mod.

Hello can I run the mod with VCOM and LAMBS all at once?

but I use project injury reaction it provides another ace version (in a separate mod found inside PIR mod page) which is compatible with PIR, so it can replace the medical system, should I still not use BCOMBAT along side with VCOM, with LAMBS with SOG AI and DCO SOLDIER ?

Avoid bCombat when using ACE, as it breaks both medic AI and lethal damage hit detection so that a couple shots to the foot is instant death like in vanilla.

Jello, O know they all mess with AI but can i use lambs and vcom at the same time ? if not ford anyone know how to uninstall it ? thanks in advance
